Help Pages with block showing a select set of nodes, in order

I'm helping to architect a site that has over 800+ help pages. These pages are mostly HowTo pages and some have a series of other pages that are directly related. Any one of these pages could be part of a "process" (such as downloading, installing, and configuring a mail client). When a user visits a node that fits into a "process", we want to list the related pages in a menu or block where the links are *always* in a set order. I'm not sure technically how to achieve such a task. I had thought about using some combination of RelatedContent, NodeQueue, or even some of the other modules that build hierarchical menus. However, with the number of pages that we have, I am concerned with using modules that pre-create blocks. It seems like a maintenance nightmare to have to manage these blocks, not to mention it seems like a lot of overhead. I've not really come across examples of sites that employ this type of structure. Does anyone have any thoughts, ideas, or examples that might help out? Thanks! Tina

Hi Tina, Have you looked at the RelatedContent module ( http://drupal.org/project/relatedcontent)? With this you can manage the ordered list of content related to each node on a node-by-node basis. Then it's just a matter of exposing the block in your node pages - a single block to manage. Hello, I have Advanced Forum with Flatcomments. Works well except that for some reason the posts in a forum are not in chronological order. The posts seem to be grouped by user, so all of my posts are at the top, then all of my brother's posts, then all of my wife's posts... It's very weird. Does anyone know how I can make the forum posts come out in chronological order? Thanks, Daniel.

Drupal 6 Intermittent posting error

I'm running into a bizaare intermittent issue with Drupal 6. Sometimes forms just fail to submit, and the page reloads with no error messages of anykind. It's almost like someone hit refresh, only all the form data is reset, etc. Basically if you resubmit the same data again a second time it works. Needless to say if you're typing in a new piece of content or a long comment and this happens its quite frustrating. The behaviour happens on a variety of different forms. It might happen when submitting a form for configuration changes, or it might happen when I am adding or editing a new piece of content. I can't establish any reall pattern to guarantee reproducing this, and I've tried to find errors in my apache error logs (they're empty via the CPanel interface I have through my hosting provider, which I find suspect). In this hosting provider I've got max memory set to 128M. Any ideas as to where this problem might lie? Anyone experiencing anything similar? Dave

User administration requires password

I remain puzzled on how to administer user accounts in drupal (6). Any changes to an account, such as activating or blocking an account, requires knowledge of the accounts password. I don't know their passwords. This is the case even for user 1. How is this usually handled?

Labels and titles into CCK form

Hi there I come back to bother with a problem I have, I need to put some intermediate titles in a form with CCK that I'm doing. I need this because there are some types of fields that do not show the labels (matrix, table). Anybody know any module that allows me to put labels or titles only intermediate in the CCK form? Greetings.
