Manual DB Updates on Multisite

I just upgraded from 7.21 --> 7.22. Although the output of "drush update" suggested otherwise: Performed update: field_update_7003 [ok] Performed update: dblog_update_7002 [ok] Performed update: system_update_7078 [ok] Finished performing updates. [ok] I had to go to each multisite "Update" page and manually run the DB updater. Normal? -Kenneth

Drupal Commerce and drush

Is anyone using drush together with Drupal Commerce? As I am learning Drupal Commerce (or Commerce Kickstart), configuring the site, product categories and varieties s etc. in various ways to learn how things work and, hopefully, eventually arriving at how I'd like it configured, I would like to write bash scripts using drush to configure all aspects of the site. When I make mistakes it is then easy to modify the bash script, restore the database to its original state, then run the modified bash script etc. Rinse and repeat until satisfied. Thoughts? Thanks.

images not showing

I am adding some stuff, including Ubercart, to a site and have set it up as a dev site at Hostgator. As soon as it's ready it will become the "real live" site. One issue I cannot figure out is why my images are not showing? I need some help please. The temp URL is "http://50.22.80.44/~pia/" to the site and the links in the top menu work but not the bottom menu, nor do any of the, or very few, of the images show. In .htaccess I have tried to uncomment "RewriteBase" in several different ways but nothing helps. In "settings.php" I have " $base_url = 'http://50.22.80.44/~pia';" and have tried with this commented out also; no difference. I cannot find any other place where there is a system wide path or setting? I have experimented with permission settings on the "default" folder as well as the "settings.php" file; the settings.php is 0000 and it will not take any other. the "default" folder is currently 744 ... any ideas? thanks, Pia -- <http://www.Piasworld.com> "That's a great deal to make one word mean," Alice said in a thoughtful tone. Content type with image - upload problem

htaccess regex could not be compiled; 500 internal server error

Details here: http://drupal.org/node/1972900 D7 is fine on my local Ubuntu, but when I try to install it on a shared hosting environment where I have D6 installed w/o problems I get an error. Error log says htaccess: regex could not be compiled If I comment out the FilesMatch section or replace it with the D6 FilesMatch, I do not get the error. I get the same error/no error result even if I just place the .htaccess file in the www root without any other files in it.

File download fails

Hi All I have Drupal 7.15 site hosted in a I7 machine. One of user has uploaded his resume with file name as - Resume_xxx yyy_SW_6yrs+ (1).doc Hope user was able to upload the file as I see file is present in system. When I want to download it , it says "The requested page "/sites/.....resumes/869/Resume_xxx%20yyy_SW_6yrs%20%20%281%29.doc" could not be found." Probably its an issue with file name as I am able to download all other resumes. I am worried if system is able to upload a file with a typical file name, why it is not able to download the same. Kindly let me know how can I reject file upload if a file name is wrong. Thanks kamal

Aggregator and Cron

I have several feeds set up. The shortest interval is 6 hours; some are 24 hours. But every time I run Cron, the feeds fire off, greatly slowing down the run. I've searched the Drupal issue queue and don't see anything about this. Anybody know if this is normal, or how to fix it if not? Nancy

View problem

Dear All, I have this page http://sonjaarz.com/tony/drawings#. A view displaying one content type with multiple fields (images in colorbox format). Why is the top left grid spot empty? Permissions of ~/.drush/cache/default

Running "drush update" on a multisite included this line in its output: /home/khj/.drush/cache/default exists, [error] but is not writable. Please check directory permissions. The permissions are currently 775. FWIW, files *were* successfully created there after the "update" ... Should I change the permissions? To what? Thanks, -Kenneth

Account Setup and First Login

Good Morning. I have a simple site setup for which I would like people to be able to register. When they click on Create new account, they get an e-mail, but when they click on the link in the e-mail, they get an Access Denied page, and I have to give them a password and re-email them, telling them of the account activation and what the assigned password is. Is this the way account assignment is supposed to work if I have it set to require administration confirmation of accounts? I don't want to let just anyone create a new account, as the material is rather specialized. The site is: http://bookstudy.p-lutz.net Thank you.
