Hey Group, I'm using apache 2.0.52, PHP 4.3.10_2,1 ( freebsd ), and drupal 4.5.1 drupal is installed to a virtual host directory ( /usr/local/ncgun ) and configured as such in httpd.conf In httpd.conf I have the directory set up as such: <Directory "/usr/local/ncgun2/"> Options All AllowOverride Options Order allow,deny Allow from all </Directory> With NO .htaccess file, everything works, but looking at the file, I see thats a security issue. Hi, I see this error sometimes in the logs. Anonymous users generate this error when going to /comment/reply (without a node number). Is this a problem (e.g. normal users somewhere following a erroneous link) or is this malicious scripts trying to 'hack' drupal? [drupal-support] include external pages ... iframe

I would like to include external pages on my site. As a reference, Mambo CMS offers this feature, I believe they call it wrappers, I think it uses iframe. Specifically what I'm trying to do ... this is a youth soccer site, an outside source will provide team schedules and results, I would like to integrate those external pages. Any ideas on the correct way to do this with Drupal. Thanks for the help !!! Todd

Hi all, I am a new user of Drupal and set it up on our church site: www.lambertikerk.nl (Zelhem, The Netherlands). I really like it, but I've got one question so far: - Is it possible to view child categories on the page of a category? E.g. when I have a taxonomy like: Foo (4) ----foobar (2) ----fooquux (2) and there are no postings in Foo itself, but in foobar and fooquux, the page "Foo" just says "There are no items in this category.". I like it to say "There are on items in this category but we have 2 subcategories: foobar and fooquux," and display a short summary of both. [drupal-support] tracker.module kaput

The tracker module died on my installation. This after I upgraded from 4.5.0 to 4.5.2 I ran the upgrade script and this corrected the count of the comments in the nodes properly. But when I started to add more nodes after the upgrade I noticed that the tracker simply doesn't update. It's stuck. To correct this I had to copy the tracker.module file I have in my previous installation. Now it is updating properly but I'm basically using a 4.5.2 installation with the tracker.module of the 4.5.0 So the fun is that with the new tracker.module of the 4.5.2 the comments count finally updates properly but only it. If I create a node and this node doesn't receive comments, it doesn't appear in the tracker, as if it was never posted. It does appear only in the case someone writes a comment to it. While the 4.5.0 version doesn't update the comment count but at least shows in the tracker when a new node is created... -HRose / Abalieno

I've been getting those for weeks. I think it's related to some pay-per-click fraud being run out of the Beijing area (although I see the IP address you cited is in Korea) - for awhile, my bandwidth usage shot through the roof because the guy was using my site's banner somehow (so you might want to check to see if you're getting unusually high numbers of page requests for one particular graphic). I originally thought it was something specific to Drupal because the only domain of mine that was getting hit was the one where I was only running Drupal, but maybe I just got unlucky. on a fairly new and unpublicized site, we're getting this in the logs Type httpd Date Friday, January 21, 2005 - 16:15 User Anonymous Location http://hpcgi1.nifty.com:80/trino/ProxyJ/prxjdg.cgi Message 404 error: trino/ProxyJ/prxjdg.cgi not found. Hostname 211.200.8.200 several times a day, these show up as often as one or more a minute, but are sometimes a couple minutes apart. nifty.com is apparently a Japanese ISP, based on a few scattered English words on their site. has anyone seen this on their sites? is this something targeted specifically at Drupal? Every time I upgrade I find the same problem. When creating a node the text fields (Title, path alias, Body) take the whole page, sending the sidebar offscreen and messing with the layout of the site, showing a scroll bar on the bottom. So I spent an hour again to understand how I fixed this problem in the last version and I finally found that the difference is in the drupal.css The original (4.5.2) drupal.css has: .node-form .form-text { display: block; width: 95%; } .node-form textarea { display: block; width: 95%; } While my version (that doesn't mess up the layout, at least in firefox) has: .node-form .form-text { display: block; } .node-form textarea { display: block; width: 80%; } Maybe you should look into this. -HRose / Abalieno
