Hello,
Drupal 4.6 has revisioning built in. For 4.7 Gerhard Killesreiter improved the default revisioning a lot. It is all built in, and even supports file attachement revisioning.

Drupal can certainly be configured to track multiple revisions of a node. This is baseline functionality, configurable on a per content type basis. You simply enable "save as new version" in content type configuration screen. (this is the same place where you control defaults for publishing to front page, etc).
I would recommend looking at the "diff" module which will show you comparisons between different versions of a node.
The undelete functionality is missing as far as I know, but you could get a similar functionality by "unpublishing" rather than deleting a document. It's really not the same functionality that you're talking about, but I thought you might want to think about it. I'm not sure how this would behave when there was a prior "published" version. you might get an older version instead (would have to be tested).

Hello,
Is there a module which allows you to add versioning to a node's history? I'm looking to replace a CMS which has content versioning (and diffs) for all main content. It also doesn't delete content but marks it to be deleted. A future version was planned that would allow a user to view and easily undelete content (or empty the trash), but that hasn't been implemented yet in this other CMS.
I looked in the contributed modules, dug about in the lists a bit but couldn't find anything all that conclusive. Except perhaps the use of the textile module.
Does anyone know if such a module exists? If not would there be interest from a few folks to fund the migration of this functionality to Drupal?
Mike
