whoever the clever programmers were for the "Rebuild Permissions" button were good. The button shows up only sometimes(after a certain number of days? When something is hosed with the permissions?)
once I hit the button, the button disappeared.

I hit that, and all was better.
I don't see that button, is it added by a module?
