It does. The search.module of Drupal does UTF-8-based searching, and that is not supported in 4.3.2 PCRE engine - only in 4.3.3.
I see. I've asked the sysadmin if he can install something newer than 4.3.2. I guess that in theory I could just not have a search box, but I'd rather not risk it. This is for a production site, I want it to work.
