hello
my first question is about removing a modules : I have to desactivate it in the list's modules, and delete the folder in the modules's archive ?
the second : I create 2 views, wonderful in firefox, adding content, refresh, new content, list of content. In Internet Explorer, nothing of nothing, just the title of the view. I try to refresh the cache of IE, nada. There is an adjustment to do in drupal ?
thank's

Disabling a module is enough for deactivating it. Some modules also have an unistaller to remove their database settings and tables, which you can run from the Unistall tab at the top of the modules page, but only while you have not deleted the module's directory.

Not very likely. Something else must be going on. Did you login as the same user in both browsers?

1 - In fact, I want to replace token by token-dev. How can I do it ?
2 - your question : "Did you login as the same user in both browsers?"
reveal me a thing : only the admin can see the two views in IE or Firefox.
Then I cheked the parameters : - in the "Access control panel", for anonym/authentifcated user : views module access all views, yes for both, - by editing the view : I allow the access at the anonym/authentifcated user.
and ... no view, except for the admin.
How I can resolve this ?

From what I see, token's installation script has not changed in the
last 5 months and it is the same in the dev version.

So, just go ahead and replace the files with the new ones. As for precautions, at most make sure that your site is not accessed while you copy the files.

Hmm... Can visitors see anything at all? If not, check the "access content" permission.
Otherwise remember if you have installed any access control modules, which prevent displaying some paths, or the nodes which your view is supposed to show, or the categories in which the nodes belong...
If you don't have any access control modules, then check if a "Rebuild permissions" button appears in /admin/content/node-settings and try it.

ok, I am going to change the token for his dev version (5.x-1.x-dev2007-Sep-23).
but for the access to my view I haven't any access module. I open the access for the 2 kind of users in the access's panel control and in the edit's view screen. I restart apache, but if I am not admin, I can't see the view.
I don't know how to modify this profiling rule, and where. Or I have to install an access module who rules all the views and content type ?

No, you don't have to. I only asked in case an access control module was causing the problem. Do you have any other modules except the core modules? Or did you install and then unistall any modules recently?
Also, is there a a "Rebuild permissions" button in /admin/content/node-settings or not?

thank you very much Cog Rusty.
your diagnostic is good : - anonym user can't see any content, - I built 2 views, closed the 2, - by Rebuild permissions" button in /admin/content/node-settings, everything is clear now : anonym users can see the 2 view. Ouf, it was very hot, and I have to deliver a preview of the site today.
thank's a lot,

I have fields that I have added to the Book Page Content Type. I understand that the Widget and Label need to be required by Viewfield to manage the dynamic storage of the fields value for a given page.
Is there a way to supressed the display of that label using the admin? We are trying various theme techniques to do it, but it would be nice if Drupal's Viewfield module would just all me to check a "no display label" button.
The issue is the unwanted extra divs that we have to theme around.
Thanks
Sorry if I haven't understood 100% what you are trying to do. But couldn't you use CSS display:none for these things?

Hi, Thank you, that did work and my only objection to it is that it inserts a number of lines of HTML into the page that we must then theme out using a CSS directive.
I did, just find my answer, however. on /admin/content/type/book/display, the Display Fields tab, there is a choice of making the lables Hidden. This option prevents the div section from being generated.
