Is it possible to receive the postings on the mailing list as an RSS feed? I have an excellent RSS reader, NewsRob, I am using on my Android tablet and would find it much more convenient to read postings that way than in my e-mail program.
Aggregator - standard core feature.

Aggregator can handle any RSS feed. You just have to tell it where to find the feed and set up a block to display it. It's a core module so there is documentation on DO.

I think he's asking for a drupal.org RSS feed that he can link into so he doesn't have to check emails, but can check his RSS feed.
Taking a quick look around, I can't find any RSS feeds for this list, but I might be mistaken. Sorry I couldn't help.

Correct, we were both asking for that.

Ah, silly me. There might be a feed from the digest, but other than that, I don't know of one either.

This list uses Mailman listserv software. It is solid software but old, no RSS unfortunately.
There are many of us who want the listserves to migrate to groups.drupal.org(gdo), but only after gdo significantly upgrades is notifications system which would include the ability to post to a thread or create a thread via email.
There have been people working on just such an approach with the Mail Comment and Mailhandler modules. You can read about it here: http://drupal.org/node/1045918
I don't know where the gdo people are in moving towards integrating Mail Comment/Mailhandler.
There is another approach which I think is more promising but is likely not on the radar of the gdo folks. It's a module called Og_mailinglist: http://drupal.org/project/og_mailinglist
But until people can post to threads from email, I fear we are stuck with a non-Drupal, non-RSS Mailman listserve :(

I thought I looked, my eyes are getting too old.
Try this one instead, it has this thread in it so I know it is current: http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.comp.php.drupal.support
