Dear All I am bit confused which module I should chhose apacheslor_file or apachesolr_attachments.

My requirement is as below.

1. I have a custom form 2. Users can fill their data and upload their document, say their resume 3. Want the somebody search for users having particular skill set, searching should be done in their uploaded document (say resume).

As I understand, apachesolr_attachments is useful when one file is attached to a node. In my case, I will not have a corresponding node . So it looks to me the appropriate module may be apacheslor_file. I tried using both modules (one at a time), and found apachesolr_attachments is working really good (with tika as well), however with apacheslor_file, got some errors while trying re-indexing.

So my questions are 1. Which module will be more appropriate for above requirement 2. In case of apacheslor_file, how do you verify if a file is really indexed or not.

Any pointers are highly appreciated.
