Configure your block on the admin-->block page.
Under "Show block on specific pages," select the radio button for "Show if the following PHP code returns TRUE (PHP-mode, experts only)."
Enter the following PHP code:
<?php global $user; return ($user->uid); ?>

When I create new blocks I want them to just appear on the nodes/sides after people have logged in. So that they are only visible for those who are logged into the site. I do not want these blocks to appear on the front side before people are logged in.
