I downloaded and installed Drupal 6. Content access recommended module and ACL recommended module. I enabled Content Access and ACL. I still do not see any way at all to set a permission per node. I went to the administration menu content-> as well as content-> types. Does it really have to be this difficult? Where the $%^& do I set a per node permission? I have been going mad for twelve hours trying to figure it out with Drupal 6 & 7. WTF?
Did you check this box for the content type you want to apply node level permissions to?
Enable per content node access control settings *
