Drupal 6.5

In the Block lists, there is Recent Comment predefined. This works with Coherent Access out of the box. When student logged in, only the comments written to the private page for that student will be shown. Very nice. The problem is that I can't find the way to limit the number of the comments and 'more' link. It will show all the comments, which can be a long list.

So, I created a View, where I have the control on the number of the comments and 'more' link. But this doesn't work with Coherent Access so all the comments throughout the site will be listed even though they are not for the student who logged in. It doesn't seems to associate with Coherent Access as far as I could tell.

Any help would be appreciated.
