Hi all,
I am kinda of a noob at this, is there anyway to prevent comments posting for story and only allow it for forum area ? It seems that without comments forum does not work. However with comments enable, Comments can be posted eveywhere

It is true that the setting for the default workflow settings is well hidden :) This will be improved in Drupal 4.7. In Drupal 4.6, go to "administer->content->configure->content types". Then, click "configure" for each content type, and set the default comment setting to disabled.
