hi all, I had setup drupal fromt page and it was working fine until i modified the contents as admin user and set one more page as sticky . It works well as admin and once i log out ,it says you are not authorized to access this page and the front page shifts back to the default front page in drupal installation . What could be the problem ? the page iam referring to is http://glugt.org ,http://glugt.org/home , http://glugt.org/mgl07
Hello,
I have the same problem and fixed this, how :
1. node numbers are changed in database - look in the database "Node" table, all IUD numbers are meaby changed to 5
2. change this numbers 5 to 1 (do it by one page and see the result)
3. In Node Revisions you can see the content from a page.
Meaby is this a solution for your problem.
Kind regards,
Willy Smets http://portal.ehbm-cms.net

You haven't allowed access to the anonymous user for the content type used to create the page.

If you see the nodes as user #1, then they are probably published and promoted properly but there is an access control problem.
Make sure that - In /admin/user/access, in the "node module" section, you have enabled "access content" for anonymous users. - If you have installed some additional access control module, check its permissions as well. Or tell us which module it is.

if u say the statusid then its #1 and the nid,vid is 1 for home page and 7 for the mgl page respectively .

yes i have set it correctly .and still getting the access denied error :(

i have disabled most of my modules. i had installed event, signup and wiki module for our drupal site .
and still get the same problem .

Of course. You can take a backup (a database dump) and load it to your new site's database. But along with the content all your settings will be loaded and the problem will probably appear again.

Ok, browse the node_access table in your database. Are there any entries? How many, any what is in their "realm" field.
