Hi Ram,
I'm pretty sure that the hierarchical select module is what will meet your requirement:
http://drupal.org/project/hierarchical_select
Let us know if that was indeed what you were looking for.

Bharani...
What is the error?
There are several modules... and I think hierarchical select might be one... in which the module developer forgot to put in,
core = 6.x
into the .info file of the module. Simply adding that one line of code into the .info files fixes everything. (That's true, obviously, only if that is indeed the problem :> ).
I can tell you that I do have the hierarchical select module running fine on at least one Drupal 6 site.
Report back and good luck,

Bharani,
I think the problem is with the quotes. The code should be:
core = 6.x
*NOT*
core = "6.x"
That is true for each of the sub-modules as well.
Let us know.

Try taking out the quotes in the "version" and the "project" statements.
The datestamp, version and project variables are added by the file deployment script. You shouldn't bother these. The core = 6.x belongs above the "; Information added by ..." line.

I think the problem is with the quotes.
Shai, you information is incorrect. Strings in the .info files may be quoted and are the quotes are often required.

Hi Earnie , Shai and all
I tested with quotes , and also tested without quotes ,
But i cant enable the module ,
Any other idea ,
The proper thing to do would be to open a support request or bug report in the module's issue queue.

Earnie is right, and here is the direct url:

I also note on the project page that there is a 7 April 2009 dev release.

Now main i want to enable Hierarchical Select Taxonomy Views module , can any one guide me How i enable this below one Hierarchical Select Taxonomy Views 6.x-3.x-dev Use Hierarchical Select for Taxonomy exposed filters in Views. This version is incompatible with the 6.2 version of Drupal core.
It's still under development. The maintainer has hit a road block in getting it implemented because of difficulties with views2 and time constraints.
If there's any views guru's out there that could take a look, well... you'd be awesome.
