Shai,
When I set the feed's node type filter to another type it works, but when it has the problem node type it doesn't show anything.

Marty,
Maybe your settings are messed up at: admin/content/node-type/<machine name for content type>/display/rss
Does anything show up, even the node title?
Remember that you don't control fields display in Views like you do when the row type is "fields". You do all the control via the content-type administration.

Yes I'm using Drupal 6 and Views 2 and then testing via the path set in Views. You're not kidding that those previews are not reliable, I hadn't seen this kind of thing before and got a little freaked.
For some reason it looks like this particular content type is not working for a feed. I also have a page display set up with the same View, and there the content type seems to work fine. So is there something special about a feed? How do I go about debugging this?

Marty,
Are you using Drupal 6 (probably views 2) or Drupal 7 (views 3).
But in either case, those previews are not reliable. Have you create a new display of type "feed" and then set the path? Those are the most important things. Then test out the actual feed, not the views preview.

I'm unable to get a feed to work for a certain content type. What I can't wrap my head around is that on the Views screen the preview seems to work ie. I can see the feed entries for my content type. However when I set up the feed on my browser I don't see any of
those entries.
I then added a second content type to the feed and what happens is on my preview I get 7 of the problem content type and 18 of the other type, but on the browser the feed shows 25 of that second content type only.
So it looks like --- I dunno what that means. Can someone help me out here please?
