Hi,
I need a way to view the upload date/time with attachments.
I've tried looking at the attachments module, but doesn't seem to have what I'm looking for. Has anyone else looked at this issue?
Thanks!
Are you trying to get a progress bar for when people are uploading and want some sense that something is happening, or do you want to view the date/time an attachment was uploaded?

The latter. I need to show when a file was uploaded and who did the uploading.
Maybe there's a better way to do what I'm trying to do: Users are modifying a doc. As each user makes modifications, they upload the latest version.
Then I need a way to show this history of the file. I tried using views, but the database doesn't seem to keep up with uploaded date.
Is there a mod that does what I'm looking for?
THanks!

hi all, i have a blog post that under 'published' the box is definitely not checked, but the post shows up as published anyway.
this was a very sensitive post and i had to delete it entirely so that people wouldn't read it. the fact that it was published when i thought it wasn't has created some problems!
what am i doing wrong here, why did the post show up as published?
thanks for help!

Have you doubled checked your permissions and roles?
It's possible to grant users access to unpublished items (which I'm guessing is what happened on your site).
Cheers,

thanks for the reply. i am checking
admin/access
and don't see anything allowing unauthenticated or authenticated users to access unpublished content. am i looking in the right place (drupal 4.7)?

Are you using a view to display the blog posts? If so, did you use the published = yes filter? Just covering all the bases.

That was my first thought also. A nodes published vs unpublished status isn't an enforced control - its a field in the database and it is up to modules and custom code to obey that hint.
Note that PHP snippets can also display unpublished nodes too. Make sure any queries in PHP snippets check the node tables status field.
I would also examine any Views you have setup ... Views allows the display of unpublished items (you can turn this off by filtering on publication status) so it's possible you're erroneously making public unpublished content that way.
