I (just) have, but unless I'm being dumb (possible), that just seems to allow for easy creation of dropdowns, rather than allowing me to alter the menu structure.

Hi, You can go to site building-> menu. So you select edit event menu. In the menu setting: path: you chose node/x with x is node number of event1. Good luck,
