Does advanced forum module work with nodecomment module ? I find several post in the issue list where people are using nodecomment module, but when I tried it I was unable to use nodecomment with advanced forum module because advanced_forum module is dependent on comment core module and node comment module works only if comment core module is disabled.
I need a block which list topics and comments in the descending order of the post date but I got no luck with views. No I need to make it custom only?

Go to Administration > Site configuration > Site information and specify the node you want to appear on the front page as the "Default front page". i.e. instead of "node" (all nodes promoted to front page), put "node/14" or whatever node you wish to appear.
Alternatively you can do bulk promotions, demotions from Administer > Content management > Content where you can select nodes and demote/promote in bulk.

On this site I only want the first node/map - Hele Danmark map/radius - to be showed because i can select them from the infowindows in the map or from the top where CRUD is mentioned.
