Hi All,
I've noticed sometimes that when the teaser gets created it doesn't apply the trimming length I have set (600 chars). It only happens sometimes, and I'm baffled to what is causing this. Is this a known problem? is there a fix?
drupal version. 4.6.5

just to clarify. The entire article is visible from the wire page. We have been inserting <!--break--> manually in the offending posts, but an automatic fix, or an understanding of why the trimming doesn't get applied would be preferable.
Thanks Cam

I think you are using TinyMCE. I wonder if it can be related to this. Did you try disabling TinyMCE and testing the teaser?
