For some reason I cannot enable a new module or disable an existing module. When I check them off/on then hit save configuration the page reloads and the module status remains the same.
Does anyone have any idea as to what could be wrong? I'm running Drupal 5
Thanks in advance.

Check and see what is happening in the database -- possibly, the changes are being recorded in the database but you are looking at a cached page onscreen. I've seen this occur when working behind a proxy server.
Cheers,
Bill
