And why are the Drupal Mailing lists on it?
Nabble is a list/forum aggregator. I assume that Drupal is on it because the drupal mailing lists are public, and there's nothing to stop them from including it (much the same way that Google archives all public web pages).
It's also possible that someone in the Drupal community knows someone at Nabble, or even works for Nabble.
Is there a problem?

In general, I have a problem with "aggregators" that rewrite the URLs to their own domain. A true aggregator is going to point to the original source of the content, imho. To me, this strikes me as a scraper site used to steal content from other sites and claim it as their own. Maybe I'm wrong, but such practices have become big business.
Laura (who apparently has a Nabble "profile": http://www.nabble.com/ user/UserProfile.jtp?user=253790)
Yeah, I call it stealing, impersonation and ad gouging.
Why do they not only have to replicate the email list in its entirety but go out of their way to use my email address in order to create a false account in their "service" --an account I can't delete or disable?
And all the while running GoogleAds on every single frigging page?
Impersonation is illegal in the United States, but how to deal with something like that with a company that is looking for the added attention and traffic to begin with?
BTW : At no point here at Drupal was it stated anywhere on the mailing lists that they would be completely open for anybody to do whatever they want with the content ALONG WITH our email addresses.
It would have been nice to know 2 years ago that this was the case with Drupal's mailing lists. Could a disclaimer be set on the footer of all future emails and on all mailing lists?

An email to their abuse department might be in order?

OK, I think this is really incredible : They are scrapping Drupal's mailing lists and planting them on pages with google ads on them all the while taking people's emails and creating accounts with them. to delete any posts with your email you have to authenticate the account and then proceed --in effect cultivating now not only their web scrapping but also their email harvesting.
doesn't this go against Drupal's CC license?
