Hi Dries

I also thought I'd get in touch to let you know that we launched a new Award at Packt for open source Content Management Systems today. This is designed to reward an open source CMS that has been voted for by a panel of judges and visitors to PacktPub.com. The Award is open for all open source Content Management Systems to enter and offers a first prize of $5,000 with first runner-up receiving $3,000 and second runner up $2,000.

Nominations, which is the first stage of the Award, begin on Monday 24 July. We are looking for people to put forward nominations for their favourite open source CMS. The five with the most nominations will then be put forward to the final voting stage. A panel of judges will then vote for their top three from the final five. As well as votes from the judges, we are opening up the vote to the public, which will go towards the final decision.

This isn't designed as a popularity contest, which is why the final five vote is largely down to a panel of judges. However, with the nomination stage and final five vote open to the public, we are happy for you to do some campaigning to drum up interest and increase nominations/votes for the Award :)
