Sorry to ask repeat question, though I have searched the mailing lists, but I have installed Drupal 4.6.5 with Banner module 4.6.0. I have followed all steps that I can in the INSTALL file. Some steps were in the UI, e.g. administer -> users -> configure -> permissions I did not have in 4.6.5.
There seems to be an issue with approving the ad after it get submitted.
An e-mail is sent to the administrator account that has a link that wont resolve, http://mydomain.com/banners/view/all/pending which is not valid. And, I cannot see in the administration how to "approve" it.
I did not see as part of the instructions in the INSTALL file to set any url locations.
Should I check out what is in cvs ?

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but going to admin/banners will give you the admin interface for all the banners in the db. Does this help?

The question is, how can I get the banners to not be in the "pending" status. I do not believe the INSTALL doc is up to date as to the admin UI.
How does the administrator approve a banner to been seen ?

If you are uploading the banners, do it via the admin/banners area. The option under create content is so that your advertisers/sponsors can submit new artwork on your own, and all you would have to do is approve them.
You approve a banner by editing it in your admin screen and change its status.

I uploaded a banner with the admin user with a link my banners->add.
When I look under admin->banners, it shows the banners with no options other than to list them and sorting options. I can click on the user that submitted them, the admin, but that just takes me to the user permissions. There isn't a place under admin->banners to add a banner.
Is there something not correct in the banner table possibly?

I sent you a screenshot of my admin/banner page. Is that what yours looks like?
Note that on the right hand side is an "options" column with a "view" and an "edit" link which should contain a page where you can "enable" a specific banner.
I had a problem yesterday where a block on the right side of a themed site was placed on the top of content on the page and was located in a specific pixel location within the page. This meant that if certain items in the body were really wide they would get hidden under this block. My solution was to go to blocks/configure and limit the block to be hidden on admin/* pages. I'm not sure if that is the problem in your case, but it's a useful hint in general anway.

I must be taking crazy pills because I do not have this under admin->banners. The ONLY thing I have is "list". I have my banner_db* files set to 2755, group executable, and owned by apache:drupal. The banners directory under files is set to the same. I do not have any errors in the logs, so I am at sort of a loss.

For the admin user I have set -
administer banners manager banners show banners upload banners
I created a different role called Admin that the admin user is part of. This is the column under permissions I have checked.
Just as a test, I selected "authenticated user" to be able to manage them as well.
