Succesfully updated from Centos 5.1 -> 5.2. I left mysql 5.0.45 until last, but it didn't give me any issues. I did have that handy backup just in case in needed to back out though ;)

Hi David, I never did update from MySQL 5.0.22 to 5.0.45 - but I would definitely back it up and put the site in maintenance mode before trying. Best, Jens

Hi, just a quick question. I've been running Drupal 6 on Centos 5 with mysql 5.0.22 for awhile now, and I'd like to update to the latest version 5.0.45. <http://5.0.45.> Is it safe to update the mysql package with an active Drupal database, or do I need to dump it, start fresh, and reload the database. Just curious if anyone has tried this and what the consequences might be. I'm thinking I can just bump the version since it's just a minor revision. Any opinions would be appreciated.
