Hi,
I am trying to create a site for a web application and finding it quite difficult to find a good aesthetically pleasing theme. Something quite shiny with rounded buttons.
I also need a lot of regions to put my blocks and content. It would be nice if it could be recoloured. It would be great if it can be customised with different styles, fonts etc.
Any ideas of a theme/module to suit my requirements?
Many Thanks
Ayath
Ayath,
Have you tried Artisteer (at http://artisteer.com ). They support Drupal 7 now. It would take a long time and a lot of effort to get some of the design effects that are generated with that program. It creates JavaScript (including jQuery) and CSS along with the XHTML. I'm new to the list and hope I am not telling you something you already knew.

<:avglsdata id=avglsdata> "Lots of regions" means different things to different people. I have tried several themes that advertise "lots of regions" and none of them had the all regions I wanted, but had lots of others. The Zen theme is pretty easy to customize to your needs as long as you know CSS. I've never tried adding the Color module to it, but I'm sure someone has. I'm currently playing with Omega, which is also customizable (check out Jake's V3 video for some awesomesauce). If you don't use a "starter" theme, you're likely to end up hacking a theme and that will probably leave you pulling your hair out when it needs to be updated. I'll make a plug for Zero Point[1] theme and it is D7 ready.
