Hello,
The project pages for FCKeditor and ICME both seem to indicate that it is possible to integrate FCKeditor with ICME:
http://drupal.org/project/fckeditor http://drupal.org/project/imce
However, after much searching, I really can't figure out any way to integrate them at all. When I was running TinyMCE, when the user clicked on the Image button they would get a list of images they had uploaded with ICME. It was very convenient. I would like to have something similar with FCK.
Does anyone know if it is possible to get FCK to read the images from ICME? Do you know how to do this?
Daniel.
There is a setting on the fckeditor settings page under the "file upload" section where you set imce as the file handler. Then they get the cool imce handler for resizing and all that fun stuff.

Where? I don't see any "file upload" section. I'm running Drupal 5.
When I go to admin/settings/fckeditor the only options I see is to configure profiles. So I click on 'edit' for the default profile. That takes me to a new page with many settings for that profile. None of the sections is titled "file upload" and none of the options says "file upload".
There is a section called "file browser settings" but I don't see an option to "set IMCE as the file handler".
:-(

on the page /admin/settings/fckeditor/edit/Advanced under the File Browser Settings section there's a drop down called "file browser type" mine has an option that says IMCE.
if you don't have this, double check to make sure the imce module is enabled, and that you have all the permissions set up right

I already had icme enabled. I just went back to the icme settings page an I saw a setting that says "enable FCKeditor support". That fixed the problem.
Thanks.

Yeah, I have Drupa 5.
Btw, it's still not working out too well. I can browse the uploaded files through IMCE but I cannot select a file. :(
