There is another solution, create a new display in you views with another path (such as /mycontent for example), and in the uid argument configuration, set the default value if no argument is provided to "current user" or such thing. Then you can either create a menu entry manually using the menu administration screen, either use the current views display to configure the menu item.

I think we did talked about all the possibilities (I mean, by clicking everywhere), I think other solution would involve some bits of code, nothing complicated though!
