Hi,
I'm in desperate need of booking functionality for the website I'm building. They need to be able to book rooms and offices on a pr. hour basis, and I haven't found a module that does this.
There's the fairly new open resort booking module, but it doesn't work with hours only whole days and its probably overkill anyway for the few features I need.
Does anyone know how I could build a simple booking page with existing modules - I was thinking a combination of events/calendar/cck perhaps? I have tried but haven't really any success.
thanks Morten
If drupal doesnt have something, there are a couple other open source packages: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mrbs/

yeah, mrbs is great, but i wouldn't know the first thing about integrating it with drupal. Do you think that is something that can be done by a beginner or is that better left to pros? I'm somewhere in-between. I can't build a module just yet, but I can hack a bit of php...
thanks Morten

yeah, I read that too. I just hoped that something would be possible with existing modules. Nothing fancy at all. I just need a user to be able to reserve a room for some hours and show rooms as available or taken.
cheers Morten

There is this project: http://drupal.org/project/availability
I always wanted to try it out, but never got to it...
Try it - maybe it's good for you!
