Hi,

From the details you give, I can suspect a few different possible problems:

1. Your username and/or password as specified in your Drupal configuration file is different than the username and/or password for your database. 2. You have not given the database user the appropriate access rights with grants. (Remember to restart MySQL when you modified your grants!)

There may be more possible problems, but take a look at these first and see if they help.

I have installed drupal on my web site www.raunharman.co.in/drupal The databse has been created (using control panel). The db details are: Dbname drupal passwd 123456

When I visit the URL www.raunharman.co.in/drupal, I get the following error: Access denied for user 'username'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

What could be the problem.

Please suggest.
