I've got views 5.x-1.6 installed.
I went into /tracker/edit, and under Access, I checked "administrator" and unchecked "anonymous user" and "authenticated user", and clicked the Save button. Anonymous users can see see the tracker view in the Navigation menu, and get to that page. What am I doing wrong?
I even went into /admin/build/views/tools and clicked the "Clear views cache" button. And cleared the browser cache (Firefox).
If I go into /admin/user/access#module-views and uncheck the anonymous box for "views module" / "Access all views", that works, but it also prevents seeing any other views. I just want to turn off access to tracker.

Roy,
I'm not sure about the whole permissions part of this...
Also, that tracker view is built by the core tracker module. It can probably be overidden in views, but it is initially created by tracker.
But getting off the navigation menu is simple (wouldn't stop people who have the direct link of course). Go to:
admin/build/menu
and click on the "disable" link next to "Recent Posts" and you are good (sort of, if that is what you want... :) )

OK, I figured this out. It looks like what I need to do is uncheck "Access all views" for anonymous, and then explicitly give anonymous users access to the specific views I want them to be able to see.
I was thinking of those permissions as being joined by AND, but it looks like they're really joined by OR.
