In your settings file, does the base URL perhaps have a trailing slash?

No, I have not defined baseurl path.

The reason is that you have a Multilanguage module or option, you should configure your language in your_site.it/admin/settings/language

Yes, my site is multilanguage site, but for the "default" language I have not set any prefix path. For secondary language (english) I have set en (without /).
