blogapi is the api interface used to allow blogging clients like w.blogger to post from a desktop system. Setting it to the movealble type blog tells the desktop client program what commands it can expect to use and how to communicate with the Drupal site. *Hi all, Another funny incident, I use firefox usually with my durpal site but decided to change over to mozilla standrad browser. However now I have a problem with logging into my site with mozilla browser. Error message being as stated, anyone got any ideas ? I have logged out with my firefox browser. I am confused about how blogapi works. I'm afraid to try it out until I know a bit more about it for fear of damaging my existing site. Two questions: 1. If I set it up to use a Movable Type blog, can the blog be set up to appear on the front page of my site or is it standalone? 2. Hi everyone, I seem to have come another problem that has to do with Deleted Users and Posts in Story. Page and Forum. It would seem that a deleted Users posts are now all not showing anymore however if one looks at forums, it still shows the post numbers. A whole topic with replies from other users have also disappeared, is there anyway by each if a user is deleted by fault or by intention, that all his or her post are still kept active and shown on the board and forum ? [drupal-support] Mailhandler connection failed

Hello, Does anyone have any suggestions about why my mailhandler pop3 connection is failing? I've managed to telnet to the exact same location, with no problem at all. So I know the port and server/domain name are correct, as well as the username and password. One thought - does mailhandler automatically remove the domain name if it's at the end of the username (because my host requires the domain name as part of the username). I've tried adding /notls, and also /norsh and /novalidate-cert (though I don't know what those are), but to no avail. I've also tried connecting through the IMAP settings, just for the heck of it. Hi all, I am kinda of a noob at this, is there anyway to prevent comments posting for story and only allow it for forum area ? It seems that without comments forum does not work. However with comments enable, Comments can be posted eveywhere best regards

I want to build a system where you have a administrator and different power users how have the rights to build some pages. For this users I want it to be really easy to update pages. So far the best solution I found on this among open sours CMS is the way Exponent works. http://www.opensourcecms.com/index.php? option=com_content&task=view&id=475 I really like to have a CMS working in the same intuitive way as Exponent when it comes to updating your pages. The problem is that the project seems to die and also Exponent is missing some fundamental futures. Im looking for some information about alternatives to this for Drupal? Is someone know if somebody tried to build a module or something how make drupal working in the same or a similar way as Exponent? Sorry for my bad English // Regards Johan

I finnished installing durpal and everything went quite smoothly. However there are two problems I face. 1. When I register a new account, this is the error message I get and I am not forwarded to the register done page" Yes. I can login to mysql on localhost with my user and pass. Location/insula/dr/?q=user/register <http://www.mypartybase.net/insula/dr/?q=/insula/dr/?q=user/register> MessageAccess denied for user: 'insula@localhost' to database 'insula' query: LOCK TABLES sequences WRITE in /srv/www/vhosts/www.mypartybase.net/htdocs/insula/dr/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 66. Severityerror However th register does go thru and all is fine. 2. When we try to post a new blog and a new forum. We get the following errors, however again the post is fine. Location/insula/dr/?q=admin/aggregator/add/category <http://www.mypartybase.net/insula/dr/?q=/insula/dr/?q=admin/aggregator/add/…> MessageCannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /srv/www/vhosts/www.mypartybase.net/htdocs/insula/dr/includes/common.inc:384) en la línea 192 del archivo /srv/www/vhosts/www.mypartybase.net/htdocs/insula/dr/includes/common.inc. Is tehre a simple code to show the names as filled in the user's profile instead os showing the user id Fo r example isneatd of shwoing "Jsmith" as onlne now, i woudl like it to show "John Smith" with John Smith being the user's anme as filled as entered in their profile. Larry Osei
