Can it be changed to be inside the "sites" subfolder: 'file_directory_path' => 'sites/www.example.com/files' this looks cleaner to me, since it would make per-site independent backups and, maybe, future migration of each site to a separate server easier. What do you think? Is it possible to set it as I propose? Is it a good idea? TIA, D. say, future

Also: must it be in the drupal installation root or in (for virtual hosting) drupalroot/sites/virtualdomain_1/files ?? D.

So, is this some bug that keeps being ignored in Drupal development, or is it only thoroughly undocumented? Is there really no way to have separate files folders, one for each virtual site? Order taxonomy terms by autocomplete order typing

I have a problem, i need that the order of typing terms on autocomplete be the same when it display. I have terms to a flexinode, they are the names of authors, and the order is necesary. I introduce the authors by typing it on autocomplete taxonomy, and when i submit it the order is inverse, so if i edit and submit the order change to the inverse and the good order.. example: New content - Authors: Jhon, Frank, Paul, Helen [submit] Display - Authors: Helen, Paul, Frank , Jhon Edit - Authors: Helen, Paul, Frank , Jhon [submit] Display: Jhon, Frank, Paul, Helen Any help? thanks...

order of primary linjks and secondary links in 4.7

Hi, I notice that in 4.7 we enter all the primary and secondary links under admin->menu and then just map the particular menu to primary or secondary under admin->settings Since we arent hardcoding the links (Like 4.6) how do I control the order? for example: I want the links to be (left to right) : Home Taxonomy1 Taxonomy2 Contactus but right now it seems to decide the order based on the menuitemid -v

Hello, I have installed Drupal 4.7.1 and created the first (administrator) account Now I am in the Home -> Administer -> Settings panel, to configure the website. The first time I loaded this page, it showed this warning: * warning: mkdir(files): Permission denied in /var/www/html/includes/file.inc on line 91. * The directory files does not exist. which was correct, I *had* indeed forgotten that step in the install instructions. However, the message remains even after: * creating that directory, with the same owner and group as settings.php * reloading that page This is a virtual domain, I am working in /var/www/html/sites/mynewwebsite.net, where there is settings.php and, now, also the files folder. Why isn't it seen yet in the control panel? Note it still says the folder doesnt' exist. Is drupal looking somewhere else? How can I fix this, and understand exacty what is happening? TIA, D.

Hi all, i'm a newbie in drupal. I've made a web page based in drupal with the i18n module to translate flexinodes. These nodes have text and a image. The translated nodes have a diferent text (of course) but must have the same image. locked out - site off line for maintenance

I've just created my first attempt at drupal, apparently successful, until I did something with a button that said something about going off line for maintenance. Now I can't get back again. No matter what I do, I get the "closed for maintenance" window. Help?! thanks... David.
