OpenID

Does anybody know of a site running the OpenID module successfully? I want to run it in order to network all my sites and make it so my users can keep just one login. I cannot run the Single SignOn module because that requires to have the sites on a shared database --and there is no way I will be doing that anytime soon. So, OpenID seems like the way to go but I cannot make it work. So, if anybody knows of a site using this module, I'd love to give it a whirl. Thanks. Views module: Searching all fields

Hi All, I have a view that presents a list of people to the user. I'd like to have a search box that allows you to search all fields. Currently, I'm using an "Exposed Filter" on one of the fields, but it'd be nice if I could apply this filter to all fields. If this isn't the proper place for this kind of support, I apologize, and would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction. Common Configurations of Multiple Sites

Hi, I have a single drupal installation with multiple sites. I can somewhat easily customize each site individually, such as enable and configure modules, add user roles, etc. However, when I realize that I need a specific user role for all of my 5 drupal sites (particularly, site admin with reduced privileges), I find it tedious to log into each site separately and configure it. The problem escalates as the number of sites goes up. I was wondering if there is an easier way to mass-configure all sites in a single installation? (I am guessing the answer is no, because conflict resolution could be complex?) When creating a new site (i.e., copying sites/default to something else), and running the install script (install.php) on that site, are the default settings for the new site copied from the default site that I reconfigured, or reinitialized with Drupal default values? If it's the latter, is there an easy way to change installation defaults? If any of these questions have been answered elsewhere, I'd appreciate a pointer to the answer. Cheers, Tony A.A.

Movable Type to Drupal

Hello, One of my client would be interested in migrating his blog from Movable Type 2.65 to Drupal 5. I have seen a bunch of recipes and scenarios mixing different versions of the 2 CMS. I do not know MT at all. Has anybody done this before? Any hints, clues or tips? Perhaps URLs I missed? Thanks Francis

taxonomy categories: adding keyword messes up url?

hi so when we have a node and add a keyword from the taxonomy module it changes the url of the node. then we get very strange urls, and multiple keywords just leads to chaos. makes it hard to link to the url if it changes. any suggestions? -- will

How to change default view of search results ?

Hello! I've my own module with search method. It happends that search in dupal nodes has no matches, but search by module has. How to enforce drupal, so it will automatically display results from my search if node search result is empty ? Currently I have to select different tab on search result view. best regards Jarek

Problem with thickbox and drupal5

Hello, I'm trying to use thickbox "http://drupal.org/project/thickbox" and Drupal 5. The result of my problem should be see at "http://drupal5.paupe.name/?q=image/tid/2". I don't know whereis the problem but i tested all *.js *.css files from the module and jquery.js from Drupal, and it works fine wich own html page. It's possible that's a drupal.js problem ? PHP Code in a block

Size of H1, H2, etc. is too small in Drupal

I have just installed Drupal 5.0 on my Slackware 11 system and I'm just playing at the moment to see if it suits my/our requirements. One thing that has struck me immediately is that I can't get big headings using <H1> tags. 'Naked' HTML files with <H1> tags give text that's much bigger (I'd guess about twice as big). In general I'm finding the Content entry ability of Drupal to be a bit weak, that's where my users will need most help. How does one lay out a page with a number of paragraphs and headings and maybe some lists etc.? -- Chris Green (chris(a)halon.org.uk)
