D6: Anonimous comment are not displaied

Hi all. I have this strange problem with my drupal 6 installation (www.ziodrupal.net): anonymous comment are not displayed. Anonymous can send comment and comment are writer to DB (I can see it in the comments and node_comment_statistics tables), but not displayed in the node's page. I have checked the permission and seems correct to me. If you see this page: http://www.ziodrupal.net/links/prova-di-inserimento.html You can see "2 comments in reply to prova di inserimento" and infact in the db there are 2 comments, but only the one of "admin" user is displayed. I have tried with my theme and with "garland" theme, but the results is the same. Any help is welcome. Unable to login to site or add products to cart in IE6

As do most of you, I have a deep and abiding love for IE6, and this issue just deepens that love. For some reason, I am unable to add products to my cart (using Ubercart) or even sign in to my account in IE6 (all things I can do just fine in IE7, FF, Safari, Opera, and any other browser known to man). When I try to log in, I just get the "Access denied - You are not authorized to access this page" message. When I try to add a product to my cart, it just displays the "There are no products in your shopping cart" message. I've looked at settings in IE6 and can't see anything that would prohibit this, such as cookies being blocked. Based on some suggestions from IRC last night, I tried using a different theme and enabling CSS aggregation, but that didn't make a difference. Does anybody have any idea as to what would cause this? Thanks.

Views2 - filter by "user ref field" = "current logged user"

I have a cck where one of the field is the user referenced filed (of a particular role) - the filed name is kids_name In D5 i had a view where the filter was set to kids_name = is one of = "currently logged in user" This meant that when the user logged in - he or she could only see records pertaining to him or her (as the view filtered it matching the kids_name filed with currently logged in user field) Now i am in Drupal6.6 with Views2 and i can;t find a way to do it. If in filter i select the [content] = "kids_name" - then i only get the list of names to filter by - i do not get the option of filter by currently logged in user. Paid for Memberships for Drupal 4.7

I have someone with a 4.7 site. He wants to add to it paid-for memberships. I explained to him that were we to upgrade to D 5.x then that is already available in either ecommerce or ubercart--it's a snap. He claims that he invested a lot in custom development for 4.7 and doesn't have the budget right now to rebuild all of that. I am still trying to clarify what exactly IS this custom work, but in the event that there is a difficult path for him to upgrade right now, is there any way to do paid-for memberships in 4.7? I barely even have worked with 4.7. Thanks.

site down after i deactivated views via phpmyadmin

dear list, as i am quite new to mysql-issues and the database, i don't know how to put my site to life again.. as i had troubles with the installation of the views-module (all the other first 7 modules did install with no problems) i wanted to deactivate it. because i couldn't access my /admin/modules-frontend anymore, i used instructions on http://www.drupalcenter.de/handbuch/11551 (german language) to deactivate the views-module(s) in the database using phpmyadmin. (open phpmyadmin, select system, find the views-moulde-entries, deactivate it with setting status to 0) after that, the site is down completely (drupal error-site is showing "site down" 'because of technical issues - please check your database settings in the settings.php file and ensure that your hosting provider's database server is running') so, what to do now? i already posted a forum-topic and followed the hint of one member with no results and even a complete confixx-restore with a backup of all files and the database i did one week ago when all was running well doesn't change anything. could it be, i should have taken the site down with my admin-frontend, before changing something in the database? thank you for reading anyhow :-jo

Help with implementing drupal for a large organization

I'm looking for any assistance, suggestions or contact information that might help me direct the implementation of Drupal as a University-wide web solution. Please read below to see more details about what I'm looking for. Any information would be greatly appreciated. _*About Us*_ The University of Delaware (UD), located in Newark, Delaware, is now committed to rolling out Drupal as the primary web solution for the entire University. We currently have 7 colleges, 50 research centers, 23 intercollegiate athletic programs, numerous student organizations, and a long list of units that currently manage their current static html sites. _*The Plan*_ We plan to offer drupal-based web hosting to any and all units, colleges, and organizations within the University community. Let's just say that we expect to run drupal as a multiple "multi-site" installs and are expecting 100+ sites. At this point the plan is to run a production box with a mirrored development box for site modifications. We are building the servers on the UNIX environment using Drupal 6. We need help in best practices for our user community. More explicitly: * We expect to set up a standard drupal install and add UD "vetted" modules. As new modules or updates become available, we expect that we will need to add these to the "core" set of modules that we will make available to all sites. (ie. sites/all/modules folder) Any suggestions on how to update modules and theme for a large number of sites? * To start with, we see three drupal core installs: the first for low-profile or non-aggressive site development, the second for moderate development, and the third for aggressive development. The thought behind this is to reduce the number of sites that we need to review for conflicts with newly added or modified modules. Any thoughts on this? * We are trying to develop a policy on user access to the file system. We understand that there are users that won't want access, but there will also be others that want to tweak modules and themeing directories. Are there any suggestions on best practices for allowing our users access to the files system? My systems folks do not want to have the nightmare of granting access, but as a developer myself, I think this is a must. * URL domains are also an issue. We have some sites that are subdomains (mysite.udel.edu), other sites are directory-based sites under the hosted domain (udel.edu/mysite). Udel.edu is running on another server. I feel confident that we can run the subdomains without much a problem, however, I am interested to see if there is a suggestion on what to do with the latter issue of udel.edu/mysite. I don't want to rewrite the URL or redirect. Any thoughts or comments on this? Please note, I recently joined the Drupal in Ed group and plan to submit these questions more explicitly to them. Version confusion

I am using Drupal 5.12. It is the version available on the Download page. Lately, I have seen reference to a 5.2 version at various places on the Drupal site. Is this a typo? Or are their updates that I am missing? Bob

logging using lynx browser

I am trying to log in my site using lynx text-based browser in some occasion. But it seems like not working for me. It stays at login page even my credentials are correct. I tried logging to drupal.org, it is working fine. I am wondering if there are any settings I need to configure. Because it is working fine on Drupal 5 based websites. I am currently on Drupal 6.6. Thanks.
