Create node in a block

Hello, I remember seeing a module that allows me to place the create node form inside a block. Can't seem to find it no matter how much I look. Anyone know of it or any other solution? Idan

Event module showing 1969 dates

We are running 5.7 and all events created are showing a date of Start: 12/31/1969 - 16:00 http://www.sbindymedia.org/node/81 Tue, 02/05/2008 - 23:36 — sbindy Start: 12/31/1969 - 16:00 Timezone: Etc/GMT-8 This is a weekly meeting that will occur at the sbinfoshop each tuesday until we get the website up and running. Any clue on what I should check to fix this? I've tried Timezones on / off and some other combos. Should I try re-installing the event module? Running upgrade.php (it's a fresh install) ? Submit button missing from content forms

Hello, I'm having an odd problem with one of the Drupal sites I manage. When a user tries to create content the submit button is missing from the bottom of the form. This happens with core content types like page and story, as well as with content types created with CCK. The preview button is still there, so you have to click the preview button and then the submit button shows up. Is this a behavior that is controlled in the settings somewhere? I've never seen anything like this before? We would like to have the submit buttons present. We are using Drupal 5.4. Neil Goodman

Trying to change theme, based on language

Hello, I'm trying to write a module that'll change the theme based on the language of the site, But I seem to run into a problem when trying to change theme. I'm running this code: function language_theme_init($may_cache) { if(!$may_cache) { global $custom_theme, $locale, $theme; $theme = null; $name = "garland"; $cusotm_theme = $name; } } The theme doesn't change. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Idan

Document Management in drupal

am working on a corporate intranet and drupal has proved to be very useful so far, i have been looking at the diffeent modules available but i cant seem to find one that will handle documents easily ( upload, view and share word, PDF Excel etc, on different user roles, just like KnowledgeTree<http://www.knowledgetree.com>) My question is, does such a module exist? and if not, is there a way to intergrate KnowledgeTree into drupal such that a user has to sign in only once? -- David Njuki.

Forums Theming

On http://drupal.org/forum the name of the forum is wide and the 3 right hand columns are thin. This is nice. On my site they all come out the same. :( Using width in the css on the td's doesn't seem to work. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Flash and Drupal 404 Error

We are trying to upload files through flash to our server. In flash we are using fileReference.upload method which sends the file by post method to the server. In the we have a method to handle the file upload(php code). The code was working fine in windows-apache, but when we tried in our Linux server the flash returned http error 404. Could we do something like this using one of the Drupal flash related modules? Thanks Shyamala

Creating Tabbed Listings Pages

I'm creating a site using CiviCRM, and I've been struggling with a couple of issues in regards to controlling access to and displaying some users listings. I've been posting on the CiviCRM forums and have gotten some answers, but I'm still stuck, so I'm hoping someone here might be able to help with some Drupal specific questions. First, here's the setup. I have a membership signup page where people can sign up with one of three different memberships (call them A, B, and C). I have three CiviCRM smart groups, one for each membership type. I have a profile created for viewing each membership type. The issue is controlling who can see what membership types. Those with types and A and B should be able to see all other members, regardless of type, but those with type C should only be able to see other C members, and not those of type A and/or B. I'm using the civimember_roles module to automatically associate a CiviCRM membership type with a Drupal role (I have one for each type). So far, what I've done is to create three different menu options, each one using the URL for the listing page for each type, and I'm using the menu_per_role module to control access to each item depending on the role. However, what the client would like would be to have one page with tabs, one with a listing of members for each type. When a user logs in, he goes to this listings page, and he has the appropriate tabs displayed based on his role. My question is this: Is there a way I can do this with existing modules and/or existing functionality, or do I need to write module code to do this? I've written modules before with tabbed pages and search results based on defined user access permissions, but I'd rather not do that if I don't have to. Thanks. Steve
