confirmation link/email upon creating content

Dear drupalers I'm looking for a way that once a user creates a content of a certain type, an email to be automatically sent to his/her email to confirm, through a list. Once the confirmation is done, the content can be published . The same way as it's done with registration Does any one know how to do this? thanks M

Roles & IMCE Module

I am attempting to setup the IMCE module (in Drupal 6), so that the user is permitted to manage files within several directories, based on the Roles that user is a member of. Example: Jimmy is a member of the two roles: Team Directors; Drupal Geniuses I would like to be able to set the paths in the IMCE module to display and let him manage those directories (under the site's files root of course). Currently, i have a php snippet that will allow me to set user's default IMCE folder automatically by role, but only be a single role. This is part of the way there, but my concern is for several users who need to be able to access and manage files in multiple directories. Here is the code snippet, if it helps at all: php: foreach ($user->roles as $role) { if ($role != 'authenticated user' && $role != 'test role') { return 'roles/'.$role; } } This is placed in the Directory path field on the IMCE Profile configuration page. Basically, it looks at all the roles the user is a member of, and then ignores the pre-set roles that I don't want them to have access to (the authenticated user role and test role). Then it returns the directory, which in Jimmy's case would be the IMCE file root... /roles/Team Directors It works great for one role, but i haven't figured out how to iterate though each role an account might be a member of. This has to scale to different users who may be members of different roles, and may be members of many more than 2 roles. Lightbox2 doesn'nt show pic

Hello, I've installed D5 with lightbox2 and image-module. Configured some things and tried to write a text with picture: write content->image . then i write my text and add a picture to this text. save them an on frontpage there is my text and a thunbnail of my picture. when clicking on that thumbnail the webseite fade into black and the pic should be shwon, but there is only a white box and no pic. the link to the pic is www.example.com/test-text/lightbox2 and this is wrong. How do i fix this and how do i add more than one pic to a text ? Regards Sebastian -- What this country needs is a good five cent ANYTHING!

Administer access control permission

Hello, I have a Drupal role called "admin" which can do most admin typical admin tasks on the server (block users, administer various settings, etc). I need to allow these users to change the role of other users. There are too many users and I don't want to administer the roles all by myself. I found one way to do this: I gave the "admin" role the "administer access control" permission in the user module. BUT this permissions also lets this role access several pages which I would prefer them not to access: * Access control: admin/user/access * Access rules: admin/user/rules * Roles: admin/user/roles * Taxonomy access: admin/user/taxonomy_access Is there a way to give some users the power to change another user's role without giving them access to all those other pages? Hello All, I'm trying to install civiCRM module in my project. But i'm getting following error -> " Can I access/create Innodb tables in the database InnoDB is not enabled in the database " And i'm not getting how to enable that InnoDB as the option is not available in Database. Need help regarding hook_menu in drupal 6

Hi All! i am converting a drupal 5 module to drupal 6 module. i know 'hook_menu' is different here in drupal6 my menu item for drupal5 if(arg(0) == 'published' || arg(0) == 'upcoming' || arg(0) == 'archived'){ $items[] = array( 'path' => arg(0), 'title' => t('View'), 'callback' => 'node_list', 'callback arguments' => array(arg(0)), 'access' => TRUE, 'type' => MENU_CALLBACK_ITEM); } i have changed this to if (arg(0) == 'published' || arg(0) == 'upcoming' || arg(0) == 'archived') { $items['%'] = array( 'title' => t('View'), 'page callback' => 'node_list', 'page arguments' => array(0), 'access callback' => TRUE, 'type' => MENU_CALLBACK_ITEM, ); } please tell where i am doing wrong ?? How to replace page old links with new drupal node in batch mode?

Hi All, I am new to Drupal, I have created drupal page nodes and manually copied and pasted my old html content into the page nodes. There a lot of those pages nodes with some old html links in in them. It is very inefficient to edit them hand by hand, I am wondering if there is a way to do "match and replace" those old links with drupal page node automatically either by coding some script or SQL query and replace. Mass Mailer Module

Is there a tool people use to handle mailing lists, including tracking etc? I see there is a massmailer module to integrate with PHPList, but it has no releases. :( The site in question is Drupal 5. Thanks.
