Hello, I have Advanced Forum with Flatcomments. Works well except that for some reason the posts in a forum are not in chronological order. The posts seem to be grouped by user, so all of my posts are at the top, then all of my brother's posts, then all of my wife's posts... It's very weird. Does anyone know how I can make the forum posts come out in chronological order? Thanks, Daniel.

Drupal 6 Intermittent posting error

I'm running into a bizaare intermittent issue with Drupal 6. Sometimes forms just fail to submit, and the page reloads with no error messages of anykind. It's almost like someone hit refresh, only all the form data is reset, etc. Basically if you resubmit the same data again a second time it works. Needless to say if you're typing in a new piece of content or a long comment and this happens its quite frustrating. The behaviour happens on a variety of different forms. It might happen when submitting a form for configuration changes, or it might happen when I am adding or editing a new piece of content. I can't establish any reall pattern to guarantee reproducing this, and I've tried to find errors in my apache error logs (they're empty via the CPanel interface I have through my hosting provider, which I find suspect). In this hosting provider I've got max memory set to 128M. Any ideas as to where this problem might lie? Anyone experiencing anything similar? Dave

User administration requires password

I remain puzzled on how to administer user accounts in drupal (6). Any changes to an account, such as activating or blocking an account, requires knowledge of the accounts password. I don't know their passwords. This is the case even for user 1. How is this usually handled?

Labels and titles into CCK form

Hi there I come back to bother with a problem I have, I need to put some intermediate titles in a form with CCK that I'm doing. I need this because there are some types of fields that do not show the labels (matrix, table). Anybody know any module that allows me to put labels or titles only intermediate in the CCK form? Greetings.

Domain Access + i18n

Does anybody have any suggestions for my problem. I have a website translated into a number of languages, which exists on separate websites using Domain Access. So: example.co.uk is the "original" in English example.de has the German translation example.fr the French translation etc. To translate a page, you can either click on the Translate tab on example.co.uk/foo or use the translation table on admin/content/translation_overview. This, however ONLY works if you have the "administer nodes" permission. Without it, if you're on example.co.uk you can't see the existing German translation nor on example.de can you see that example.de/foo is a translation of example.co.uk/foo. This is presumably because without this permission, the user on example.co.uk is unable to see that the translated node on example.de exists as it's not been published on example.co.uk. This has utterly kippered me, as now my translators would need a high level of permission to successfully translate any new pages. Any suggestions? I had thought to see if I could use Rules to add an additional role to translators only when on specific pages (either translation_overview or a custom view) and remove it on all other pages but this doesn't seem to work as Rules doesn't appear to trigger actions when you're on an admin page - or at least I can't work out a condition that would trigger an action on either admin/content/translation_overview or on a page that is a view. This way also seems a bit of an insane solution, but I'm pulling my hair out trying to work this out. The only other solution I can think of is to publish all English content to the subsites, but that also has a number of major problems, not least of which it enables people to edit the original English translation.

Input Format choice on comment form not working

Hi, I have two Input Formats for everyone on my site. The Input Format selection doesn't work on the comment form whereas it works on the add node form. Any ideas ? Unable to play video in Private mode

I would like to use the Private file system with SWFTools and CCK to display some videos, but when I do, I get an error saying the file doesn't exist. I'm suing SWFTools 6.2.5 with FlowPlayer3. Web root is /home5/basicsfo/public_html/drupal, and the files directory is set to /home5/basicsfo/public_html/drupalfiles. Permissions are set to writable on drupalfiles and videos directories. I have a Video CCK type with a filefield (File Upload widget) for uploading the videos. The path for the field is et to videos (i.e. /home/basicsfo/public_html/drupalfiles/videos), and the option for the field in Display Settings is SWF Tools. When I upload the .flv files, it gets stored in the files table with the correct path, but the file is not actually put in drupalfiles/videos. But even if I manually upload the file to that directory, I still get an "200 Stream not found NetSTream.Play.Streamnotfound clip: [Clip] "http://mysite.com/system/files/videos/TS1.flv". If I use the Public upload method and upload to sites/default/files/videos, everything works fine. Is there something else I need to set up to get the uploading and playing to work properly? Thanks.
