Sending email when translation flagged as out of date

In Drupal 6, I want to send an email to all people with the "translator" role when a translation is flagged as out of date. I'd have thought this was a fairly common task, but I can't seem to work out how to do it as there's no trigger for translations. Do I need to create a trigger in my custom module? Is it easier to install Rules and use that to handle this or is that overkill for one feature? Is there anything I'm missing?

Auto increment CCK vid and/or nid?

I've been getting a bunch of duplicate entry errors on a site, something like this: user warning: Duplicate entry '81-0' for key 1 query: INSERT INTO content_field_testimonial (vid, nid, delta, field_testimonial_value, field_testimonial_format) VALUES (81, 81, 0, '<p><em> ...trimmed... /sites/all/modules/cck/content.module<http://judylarkins.com/html/sites/all/modules/cck/content.module>on line 1213. Some searching suggests auto-incrememnt is not set, and in fact none of the fields in the content_field_testimonial are auto-incrementing. However, before I arbitrarily assign auto-increment to any of the fields, I thought I'd ask which if any should be auto-incrementing: vid, nid, delta, field_ccktype_value, field_ccktype_format. Drag & drup functions. Where ?

Hi all, I need to create a little module that permit me to recreate a situation like CCK managed fields (drag e drop functionality). I think that drupal have this per default (I can see this functionality in other pages) but where I can find some info/docs ? Tnx. D5 to D6 Hell part 1: Books disappearing

I did a lot of reading before starting the Drupal 5 to Drupal 6 move over. The D6 site came online right away so that was a good sign. Yet a lot of things went wrong. So many small things, but I have been able to fix most of them. There are still a few things I have no idea to fix. All the books are g, g, gone. The list of books is empty. If I try to rebuild one of the books, I get this error: user warning: Duplicate entry '168' for key 2 query: INSERT INTO book (nid, mlid, bid) VALUES (168, 7708, 168) in MySite.com/modules/book/book.module on line 466. I have been googling but to no avail. I have looked at its MySQL database but I am no programmer. I don't know where to look at. D5 to D6 Hell Part 2: CCK Fields Lockout

After D5 to D6 move over, all the CCK fields I created are not accessible to anyone but me, User 1. I just created a new Content Type, and added a newly created simple text field, and it is also locked out from everyone else. There must be a global switch for CCK field permission or something like that somewhere I can't find. It's not under MySite.com/admin/user/permissions since they look fine. Automatic thumbnail generation from attachments

I am interested in starting a site which would allow users to attach doc and pdf files, perhaps ppt too. On each node, I would like a thumbnail generated of what the attached document looks like - to also be able to use on views, index listings, etc. Is there a module that allows anything like that functionality? MAMP DRUPAL error install - Patch Attempted

Hi, I getting: "patch unexpectedly ends in middle of line Hunk #1 FAILED at 394." from Terminal in OSX, after attempting patches from this thread<http://drupal.org/node/732420> Would someone post a patched system.admin.inc file? Or instructions on patching manually, as the line numbers in the file and the numbers from patch in post #26 differ. ___________________________ CK

MAMP DRUPAL error install

Jim, I've run update several times with all but the core modules disabled no luck. Michel, Maybe I've been at this too long today.
