even columns with javascript

Greetings, I'm using jquery to make two columns the same height on document load. On pages with collapsed fields, however, that solution breaks. Column A with uncollapsed fields looks very tall, so the jquery sets column B to that height. The fields then collapse in column A, making column A a lot shorter than column B. Does anyone know to trigger an action based on the collapsing/expanding of a field? I hope this would work because triggering based on a click isn't working. Brian

Problems with menu localization

Hello, on D6 I have a nicemenu width links to nodes and views. Under not primary languages, when I enter a view the non views menu items dissapear. Items are forced to only appear on active language. Any idea? Thank's! Pol

How to know the url of the page

Hi, I have a page with nid 1 (node/1) and alias set to "foo". How can I get "foo" alias ? I need to get it for change the page .tpl.php template file. I had thinked to get it via arg(0) function, but "node" is returned. Tnx. 1 header/1 footer for 3+ pages

Hi all. I have this site with a front page and 2 subhome page, plus 1 page.tpl.php for the internal page. All pages have the same header and footer. I don't want to rewrite the same header/footer (php+html code) 4 times, so my question is: how can i manage this situation ? How can I write only one header/footer ? In the header and in the footer there are drupal functions (like theme()) and not only static html. M. views' block or custom block ?

Hi all, I have a big site on a not so good server machine. Now I need to create (and display) a block with the last entry of a particular node type (call it "foo"). I can do this in 2 ways: - views (with template files) - custom module with costum block section In a performance context which is the best solution ? I use views in the site so this will not be the only view, and I use other custom modules so the block section will be part of one of them. Tnx. Hi all, I need to truncate my teaser to max 400 chars. In views module there is possibility that words will be not truncated. How can I replicate this ? Is there a drupal function or I need to see what views module do ? Tnx.
