Views Field vs. Node performance

Can someone comment on the performance implications of choosing Field vs. Node row style in Views (Drupal 6)? On the one hand, there are (likely) more queries for Nodes, but caching should also play a role. Thanks, Brian

Wordpress blog import

Hello All, Just want to know that, Is there any way to import wordpress blog into Drupal blog by any way that too continuously ? E.g. A user having existing wordpress blog and that same blogs should be posted in Drupal blog. When the user post a blog on his wordpress blog the same blog should be get posted in the Drupal site. CityGrid modules?

Through a NYTimes article I just became aware of CitySearch's set of APIs for their CityGrid system. I've just now signed up and printed out the API documentation and was wondering if anyone has started on or developed a module(s) for this. Apparently they've given up the battle for eyeballs and decided to share their database. They provide three APIs, one for Search, one for Profiles and one for Reviews. Publishers that use these may get paid through revenue sharing. It's still a bit unclear to me how the payment schedule works. Anyway, I thought it worth looking into.

# of anon/logged in users?

multisite - document tree vs. file tree

I want to run a multisite installation where sites/domain_name is in the user file space. A decent trackback module

Hi, Is there any good trackback module for drupal which supports spam and postgresql ? Workflow and SimilarTerms

Hi, I have some Draft and Review workflow, but, when viewing them as a guest, on the access denied page, SimilarByTerms module pulls up the nodes which are in Draft/Review and shows them. I want that, nodes that have the Published workflow only are displayed by SimilarTerms. Access Permission problem

Hi, I am using Drupal 6 when I relogin after restarting the server Some of the module behaviors have suddenly changed like 1. onClick of configure link on any block I am redirected to the same page Like when I click on : ?q=admin/build/block/configure/block/3 I am redirected to : ?q=admin/build/block 2. onClick of Administrator >> site building >> views I get a page with views data but all the tabs on top of it are missing like add/edit etc My login in the administrator login 1. I have checked Administrator >> user Management >> Permissions there is no Change in that every permission seems to be their(though I am admin) 2. What makes WP sites popular as compared to drupal sites ?

Hi, I've been using Drupal for quite a long time, since D5 was on. I have used WordPress also, but in general I have observed that, WordPress made sites become popular very easily, but inspite of having a lot of content in Drupal, the site doesn't get much hits.
