Hey all, I have a nodequeue set up and I threw some php code in a block to display the nodes I want... This all worked great for me until I updated the site to the latest Drupal 5.22 and all of a sudden I'm getting an error : *Parse error*: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in */includes/common.inc(1497) : eval()'d code* on line *1* The code for the block is : <?php$get_nodes = db_query("SELECT * from nodequeue_nodes WHERE qid = 1 ORDER BY position DESC limit 3");$count = 0;while ($node = db_fetch_object($get_nodes)) { $count = $count + 1; $full_node = node_load($node->nid); if ($count == 3) { print node_view($full_node); } else { print node_view($full_node); }}?> I have the latest Drupal 5.x version of all the modules and core. I'm using the Finder module for search, and there's a "search results" page I've overridden (page-help-search-results.tpl.php) that used the following: This embeds a Views block if there are no results ("23" is the taxonomy term ID)... <h2 class="pane-title"><a href="/help/search/23">Billing</a></h2> <?php print views_embed_view('help', $display_id = 'block_2', 23); ?> Yes, not the best way there... and now I have some sub-category terms, so that taxonomy ID argument doesn't display the parent term. Is this enough to ask how to display a parent term, along with the list of sub-category (terms) titles I have defined in that view? Ideas? Perhaps I should use a rule instead that redirects to a directory listing view if no results are available? Much thanks!

jquery ajax issue

I don't know if this is strictly a jquery issue or drupal's. I have an ajax call: $.ajax({ type: 'get', url: URL, data: refined_url, dataType: 'html', success: function (data, textStatus, XMLHttpRequest) { document.getElementById('search_result_page').innerHTML = data; }, error:function (xhr, ajaxOptions, thrownError){ alert(xhr.status); alert(xhr.statusText); alert(xhr.responseText); } }); // end ajax method The problem seems to be that the URL value used by ajax is a concatenation of the current directory and the URL value I supply. Say the URL I supply is 'sites/all/modules/mymodule/wrapper.php' (this is a concatenation of drupal_get_path('module', 'mymodule') and the wrapper.php file). Ajax wants to make it 'node/sites/all/modules/mymodule/wrapper.php'. This of course results in a 404 error. I have checked the value of URL with alert(URL) immediately before the ajax call and the variable contains the correct value. Online documentation mentions that ajax uses the current directory by default. I want it to use the string I provide.

User non-editable profile fields: howto?

Hi, I'm looking for a module which would allow me to define some user profile fields, which would not be editable by user itself, but only by users of some higher role. As an example, let's consider an user of "student" role, which could not edit his own "skill" profile field (any single value from "poor|good|exelent" list), only users of a higher "teacher" role could do that for him. Is there any module suitable for this? Or how could I accomplish this? Send all content via mail

Hi all. I have a content type with a small body, max 140 chars. I have a views' page with the last 10 entries. I want to give my user the possibility to send the content of single entry via email. I have tried "forward", but it send a link to node X. I want to insert all content in the body mail message. Is there a module ? Tnx. update.php won't go beyond the info page

I have a multisite setup in 6.16 that just had it's domain name changed. Now I can't log into the site and I can't run update.php. The domain name is pointing to public_html; I changed the subdir to match the new domain name; I updated settings.php with the new base url. It will now not allow me to log into the site. When I try to run update.php as anonymous (with settings.php $update_free_access = TRUE;), I can't get passed the info screen. Nothing happens when I select: Continue Running cron did not help. Please help! setting different delta values for hook_block

I'm developing a module that currently does not use the delta value in hook_block. The view option merely displays a form for entering search criteria. What I would like is for certain pages on the site to provide default search criteria and then display the search results. My understanding is that this can be accomplished by setting the delta value. I'm unclear on how and where to do this. I suspect this is a theme setting issue but I have not found examples.

User-based authentication of services

Just installed services modules and find out it has support for key-based authentication. But the key is service-related, not user-related. What could be done if I need to have each user to authenticate themselves or, at least, have a key per-user and not a key per-service? Kind regards, maykel

Node URL of a particular content type

Hello, I have created a content type and if some one / administrator is creating new content using that content type authenticated user will get notification by email. I am trying to do this by rules module. The problem is I am not able send the exact URL of the content type. How I can pass the exact URL? I have tried using variable %node_url and !node_url. but no use.. Thanks, Nikhil Kala
