db_query(INSERT return value

Hi All I have a table *resubmt_skill_ids, *it has two coulmns, skillid (primary key) and skillname (unique key). I have below code. , * $query_string = "INSERT INTO resubmt_skill_ids (skillname) VALUES ('php'), ('sql') " ; $result = db_query($query_string); if($result) { while($obj = **db_fetch_array($result)) {* * * * //DO Other stuff* With this I get the warning: warning: mysqli_fetch_object() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli_result, boolean given in C:\MyWeb6.20\wamp\www\livejobs1\includes\database.mysqli.inc on line 151. As per Drupal documentation db_query should return "A database query result resource, or FALSE if the query was not executed correctly." So if($result) condition turns out to be true, can I guess that there will be atleast 1 record in $result. I found data is written to table, and want to have newly written data (both skillname and corresponding skillid), can I extract the data from $result, or I need to do one more query to get the newly written data. Twitter Module- Auto post to current twitter user account

Hi, I'm using the twitter module for my site and getting errors when I enter tokens in the actions field for the twitter username. How do you set up a rule to post a message to the current user's Twitter account? At the moment, the form in the "Post a message to Twitter" action only permits a static screen name. I want to use a token for the current user's Twitter account. Any ideas? Thanks, Ayath

Moving products between installations

Hello I am needing to move products from one 6.X installation of Drupal (these are UC products), to another. Has anyone done this, and/or what might be the best way to go about it? If I'll end up copying tables, or subsets of tables, what gotchas do I have to be aware of? Thanks Luke

Drupal7 behind Apache reverse proxy

Hello list, I'm trying for some time already to setup Drupal 7 with Apache reverse proxy. Here's the situation: [ Internet ] <---> [ Firewall ] <---> [ Apache reverse proxy ] The Apache reverse proxy is working fine with other virtual hosts I have in my private network, but I cannot made it work with Drupal 7. The problem as I see is that Drupal 7 returns to the clients the absolute URLs to the clients, which includes the internal web server hostname, and thus make it impossible for clients to actually see the content - css, js, etc... mod_proxy_html is of no use here, because it screws up the whole Drupal 7 content... I installed Drupal 6 and noticed that it returns relative URLs, so this works with my setup, but not with Drupal 7. Could you give me some clues/ideas/hints, what needs to be done in order to get Drupal 7 works properly behind Apache reverse proxy? Perhaps if I could make Drupal 7 use relative URLs, instead of absolute ones, that would be the easier solution, but how to do this? Here’s a weird item. I have a Views 2 (Drupal 6.20) Profile view that takes over /users/nameofuser which is the default when you click on View. But I can’t seem to get the argument to work. It goes to users/usernamewithnospacesorpunctuation. So if a user name was joel.willers, it goes to /users/joelwillers. There doesn’t seem to be any argument that I can use with this. Any suggestions? I could change the default of the View tab to go to /users/UID instead, but I’m not certain how to do that, so if that is all I can do, could I get some advice on how to approach this? Joel

Drupal 7 - views table layout

I need help customizing the layout of a table using the views module. Maybe I don't need to use views, but my set up is the following: - 5-row table - First two rows have one column - Last three rows have two columns - A combination of images, text and integers for each field. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

River of news and contextual analysis

Hi I am a moderator on a forum focusing on Oncology (Cancer Specialties). We are in the process of moving to Drupal 7 based web site. One of the key features that we are looking for is Oncology News. However, given the huge number of publications/blog posts/ Twitter Feeds, we are in a fix because the volume of information to be aggregated is huge. I am looking for : 1) Some solution to parse these feeds, categorize them automatically, analyze the context in the text of the feeds (usually abstracts delivered in the feeds), and extract tag clouds. 2) These tags then may then be analyzed how they are linked to each other. 3) The most relevant paper (abstract/blog post) should then be able to bubble up to the top of the pile (and show as related posts). 4) We have implemented a system of rewarding the users with points so an element of human curation would be available to the most relevant posts in the proper category..essentially to rate the articles which have "bubbled up to the top". The idea is that the users avoid the huge volume of overload. Is there any module in Drupal for this? (I dont have a programming background- I am an Oncologist by profession). Thanks in advance!

Web Application Theme

Hi, I am trying to create a site for a web application and finding it quite difficult to find a good aesthetically pleasing theme. Something quite shiny with rounded buttons. I also need a lot of regions to put my blocks and content. It would be nice if it could be recoloured. It would be great if it can be customised with different styles, fonts etc. Any ideas of a theme/module to suit my requirements? Many Thanks Ayath

Thanks Nancy I deleted the content, removed the content type and rebuilt the content type using the same field names to reproduce the problem. If I use different field names it starts afresh but then produces incorrect answers if I change any field values. <snip>Try filing an issue in the module's issue queue</snip> Where do I find that please? Views-calc in drupal 7

views-calc is finding values after I deleted the content and summing those values with new values just entered. How can I delete the all bad values from the database? Flush Cache several times did not do it. thanks Roger
