Drupal multisite install

I can access the test Drupal 7 site with http://localhost/first.com but not just http://first.com because there is a web site with that name which takes precedence. http://site1 is a folder in drupal7/sites, and is a copy of /default with the database name and password changed, I get my test index.html in /var/www/html but nothing from drupal. http://localhost/site1 produces a Not Found error message. I've deleted the error and access logs so will retry this evening and see of any helpful new messages appear. Roger

Drupal 7 and HTML import

Is there any way in 7 to import html I have about 7,000 pages I would like to import just HTML and pictures. I see there is a module for 6 but what about 7?

url alias and path auto

Hi, I hope I can explain this clearly enough. Here it goes: I'm having two issues one is, that even using url alias and pathauto modules (Drupal 6) I can still access my post with two different (or more) urls. here an example. /node/5 /node/5/3945 If you need me to give you the real urls let me know. Is there a way to solve this?, should it be done in Drupal, or should I use Nginx or Apache? I have this setup Varnish -> Nginx (serving boost files) -> Apache. thanks a lot for your help. Hi, this look like your database settings are incorrect. Check your settings.php and make sure that userid and password match your root user or connect to your database (phpMyAdmin) and check that the user on the settings.php exist and has the right permission. Hopefully this will help. lock.inc problem? -

Hi, I'm getting an error accessing my transferred drupal 7 site, like this: "PDOException: SQLSTATE[28000] [1045] Access denied for user 'ecobc.net'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in lock_may_be_available() (line 165 of /home/ecobc/public_html/drupal/drupal-7.0/includes/lock.inc)." Background is that I had a virtual private server using OpenVZ and there were errors in the vm configuration. Copying HTML to drupal

I disabled CKEditor and CKfinder and just use the CCK tool provided with Drupal core. CKEditor, for me, destroys html markup by adding a lot of unnecessary tags, making the resulting code hard to read and in my case unworkable. I find it prehistoric and unhelpful. In CCK I have Full HTML selected, not Filtered HTML because I did not wish to alter the filters and Filtered HTML is very limiting. In CCK, I cut and paste or manually type html code including <img>, <p align>,<ul> <li>, etc. I find that colors and other markup have to be placed in the appropriate css files -not- in the CCK because they are overwritten by style.css, layout.css and colors.css in my theme. I alter line spacing in the css also. Use firebug in Firefox or <shift ctrl I> in chromium, I don't know the tools in windows or apple. I'm using a modified Bartick theme for this purpose and once I got the idea of what to do it became far easier and much faster to do html coding by hand. Plus I can have a number of different css text styles, for example: #h2gold {css; font; styling; here;} #h7black {css; font; styling; here;} and so on then call these from the CCK html Hope this helps, works for me. Calendar with Views

Hi, I am currently trying to run with the following. 7.x-1.0-alpha4 CTools 7.x-2.0-alpha1 Calendar 7.x-2.0-alpha3 Date 7.x-3.0-beta3 Views And cannot get them to play ball. Two issues * /Notice/: Undefined variable: entity_info in /field_views_field_default_views_data()/ (line /177/ of //mnt/RAID/WEBTEST/DRUPAL7/drupal-7.0/sites/all/modules/views/modules/field.views.inc/). * /Notice/: Undefined variable: entity_info in /field_views_field_default_views_data()/ (line /178/ of //mnt/RAID/WEBTEST/DRUPAL7/drupal-7.0/sites/all/modules/views/modules/field.views.inc/). And the fact that Dates do not show up in criteria, what used to be arguments. I am using drupal-7.0 or the core. 1/ Is my only option to move to dev packages to solve these issues? Or are there patches I can use. 2/ If I do need to update is there a way to migrate without losing my data. My assumption (bad word) is that once I untick and uninstall then the data is lost. 3/ Do I need to move to the dev of drupal too? I am familar with GIT and patches so ideally I would prefer to keep the current install and patch. Thanks, Iain

Saving Settings -- 403

When attempting to save the settings (admin/settings/site-information) I get a "Page Not Found" error. The log basically gives this: Details Type page not found Location http://www.../admin/settings/site-information Referrer http://www.../admin/settings/site-information Message 403.shtml Severity warning This is a multisite setup, and it's on a shared host which recently changed the server to improve performance. My best guess is that mod_security settings changed during the move from one environment to the other, but I'll have to open a ticket with the host. Any other ideas before I go down that path? Wysiwyg_formatter did indeed solve the problem, but I had to go into their Issues to get a version that would work on Drupal 7. I wish they would put the patched version out as a release to make it easier for others. But the FAQ is wrong because the TinyMCE buttons only put in <span> tags, so the check box does nothing.
