I have a slideshow of videos. I have set pause on click but it's not pausing. Has anyone experienced this? book items sorted in alphabetical order

When adding child items to a book, the items are ordered alphabetically instead of the order in which they were entered. Is there any way to order them by the post date instead of alphabetically?
