Error upgrading site?

Folks: I'm updating a site from D6 to D7. After theming the site and adding the needed modules, I get an error when updating the ubercart module, using http://mysite/update.php The following updates returned messages uc_catalog module Update #7003 Failed: FieldException: Attempt to create field name <em class="placeholder">taxonomy_catalog</em> which already exists and is active. in field_create_field() (line 85 of /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/modules/field/field.crud.inc). Drush and ssh

Where are the config settings for ssh and drush. I set up keys but drush is looking for the old file. M:\>drush @polamprod ssh Permission denied (publickey,password). Did you put it back after Drush erased it? Can you verify that it is still there? </snip> Hello Shai and everyone. thank you for your replies. Our ISP installed a special version of php.ini in /public_html so that apache does not have to be restarted. I did not think to look for a php.ini in the drupal root, thanks, I will investigate. ISP also lso found that the Token module was causing the failure of Drupal Permissions and Create New Page. I find, as of last night, that I am prevented from using IMCE as administrator. I get error message that Page cannot be viewed, You do not have permissions, etc. What a load of rubbish, if you pardon my expression, Admin not having correct perms seems very strange. Investigation shows that this php.ini thing has been an ongoing issue, seems unresolved since Drupal 5. Regards Roger

Hi Roger What additional modules do you have? I found that in the last release I could not update drupal with drush and I checked drush rq to see the latest errors and it told me something about the twitter module, also mailchimp does have some weird errors lately haven't fixed yet. but when updating the sites I use with twitter it updated (using drush up) the modules and then failed for the drupal core part. I disabled and uninstalled twitter (drush dis twitter seemed not to be enough) drush upped again and it worked, then updating again and enableing twitter worked fine.

Hello I updated drupal using drush successfully on the shared server When trying to open permissions I got bytes exhausted error and had to increase memory_limit to 256M to at least access permissions. Now have a problem, in /admin/structure/types/add I get error: *Fatal error*: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 79 bytes) I have tried various memory settings in php.ini on the server and find that memory_limit = 128M seems to try to allocate less bytes than if I use 96M, 128M or 256M. Why does drupal exhaust memory, this seems most strange Can you please tell me what causes this error and how to fix it. Google has not helped much. Thanks in advance Roger

A 'safe' drupal table to display

FYI: I am an experienced web developer, but I am new to drupal and not familiar with the drupal table setup. I need to set up a proof-of-concept in which a drupal table will be displayed with a drupal site. I do not wish to display a table that contains private data and could potentially compromise the site. 'date_formats' looks innocuous enough, will work for me. Proper use of tokens (D7)

I have been trying to work with a [popular] contributed module. I have found a few things that were less than well converted to D7. One that I am trying to decide whether or not to fix is in hook_tokens(). In this hook, the second parameter indicates which token replacements are being requested. This implementation still returns ALL token values, as one did in D6. If you look, for example, at system_tokens(), it looks like the "correct" function would return only the requested tokens. Returning them all should still work, but I am concerned that at some point in the future this might become an error. Do you think a significant overhaul in this module should be done, or is it okay to leave it as is and return all possible token replacements? increase performance on any internal only site

I have a d7 site that has only authenticated traffic and but a ton of it. It needs the a performance boost. Does Boost only work well for anonymous users? Would Memcache and Varnish be a good solution for an authenticated traffic only site? Drush question

I got the advice on this support queue to use drush rsync and drush sql_sync last year and occasionally, when I want to be masochistic, I go back and try to get the site aliases set up (again)! *On Windows*. My latest attempt has come to this: I have an aliasname.alias.drushrc.php file saved in my site's sites/all/drush folder. When I go to the root of this site [m:/drupalista] and type * drush sa* I get the contents of aforementioned file twice i.e.: M:\drupalista>drush sa $options['uri'] = 'http://localhost:8080/drupalista/', $options['root'] = 'm:/drupalista'; $options['uri'] = 'http://localhost:8080/drupalista/', $options['root'] = 'm:/drupalista'; @none @self default Can someone help me with some insight into why this is happening?
