User Edit Form in Panels 3

So I can add Node Edit and Node Add, but I can’t seem to find User Edit Form elements. Any suggestion on how to add this to a Panel? Joel Willers

Enabling upload module prevents editing nodes

Hello to everybody. I was working with drupal 6.9 and I enabled the upload module, but from that moment I was no longer able to edit nodes. I can enter edit mode and change the contents but when I click on save or preview button drupal returns me the same edit page without the new changes. The strangest thing is the address that appears in the address bar of the browser: http://www.my_domain/index.php?404;http://www.my_domain:80/node/29/edit where 29 is the id of the node I want to edit. It seems a kind of redirect... This behaviour disappears if I disable the upload module. I upgraded to the last version of drupal 6 (6.20) and I have done the same for the modules, but nothing changed. run cron + post tweet

Hi I am a newbie in drupal module developement, I have my website http://seydinet.com made with Managing News and now I just want create a module who if I run my cron post automaticly a tweet with a message telling for exemple "4news item added in seydinet.com" So I create a module directory name seydi, I add both file seydi.info and seydi.module. I have no problem with editing seydi.info but the big deal is with seydi.module. SQL Query - "LIKE" usage

Hi All I am using Drupal 6.20. I have constructured below query. str = *SELECT name, id, lft, rgt FROM resubmt_skill_ids AS node WHERE ( node.name LIKE "%sip%") ORDER BY node.lft* Then I call db_query() API. It did not return the expected records. On debugging, looks the query went as *SELECT name, id, lft, rgt FROM resubmt_skill_ids AS node WHERE ( node.nameLIKE "ip%") ORDER BY node.lft * Probably db_query API , considered %s as a string placeholder and removed from query string. Then I changed the query to *SELECT name, id, lft, rgt FROM resubmt_skill_ids AS node WHERE ( node.nameLIKE " %%sip%") ORDER BY node.lft* Above query returns expected records. My question is , when a token starts with "s", we will be facing above issue. What is the best way to resolve it. Can I follow the mechanism, where tokens starting with "s", will be changed to "%s" , so that in query the token will look like "%%s". Or do yo see any issues with this approach. Regards Austin

Rediect from IP address

Yesterday I discovered that one of the sites I support didn't have the "www" redirect turned on in .htaccess, so of course the search engines saw it as two different sites. I fixed that. But today, the site owner noticed a Google Alert that had the IP address in it. Does this also cause search engines to see it as a different site? If so, can I add another Rewrite rule for the IP address (we own the IP)? Nancy

Search Block hidden

Dear All, I have placed my search block in a certain region in the genesis theme (heading) and it shows when I am logged in but not when I am not. Any help much appreciated. Thanks Tony PS As you can maybe see I am at the beginning of the drupal highway.

HTML in system emails?

Hello, I am confused about how to send formatted system emails via Actions/Trigger or Rules in Drupal. I just would like to do some basic formatting like <p> or <br>, <strong> and <em>. But when I type those in, they show up in the text without the formatting. And when I just use 'returns' to create some line breaks, only some of them actually show up in the emails. For example, I have the following message set up to be send via Actions (The line breaks are shown exactly as in the message field): [current-user:name] has created [node:content-type]. [node:title] [node:body] When sent, the empty lines between [current-user:name] and [node:title] show up, but the ones between [node:title] and [node:body] do not, the text of the body comes right after the title. Any ideas? Thanks a bunch!

Themes Newspaper or Magazine like sites

Hello all. I was wondering. What are the themes you condsider the best option for having a solution like a "newspaper", "internal magazine". Lot of content and comments published often , too many of them that would be almost impossible too have them under an index menu? I am still with the project for learning Drupal 7 where the idea is to have a solution for a small school community. Where teachers can post in section only for teacher and alumni can post and read only under alumni sections (I have not solved that yet). I thought to ask about these since the theme I have been uin , "Marinelli", seems like it is not exactly what I need. I know that I have to learn more about the modules need it and I am studying them (reading what they do). I will create another test area and will install new clean installation of D7, new themes and will test modules. I would like to have the enough knowledge for having the user interface correctly working and then study in detail the code and modules to use , or modify. I know this can take some months but I want to learn and I want to continue with the plans of solving step by step. Thank in advance for your help and comments. Have a nice day. Jorge Biquez

Manage Field in Content type

Hi, I want to have a flexible list of values for my views. I have used the List(text) Field before but this (I think) means that you cannot add new values after it has been created my questions are 1/ Is this correct 2/ What field type should I use (the data the be branch names) thanks all.
