AM, Click on "Disable rich text" before adding embed code. Then save. If you don't see "Disable rich text" you might have to turn that on in the TinyMCE settings. Note: if you have "rich text" set as the default and you go into edit that node later, after you have gotten it to work, it's possible that simply editing the node again and saving it -- even if you didn't touch the embed code-- will mess up the embed code. If you are going to have a lot of videos you should have rich text disabled by default and turn it on for nodes that won't have the embeded code. Note also, it is possible that you could configure TinyMCE to play more nicely with this, but there are so many moving parts and settings going on with it and my own success so poor with rich text editors, that I couldn't begin to advise you on how to make them get along. If you were using the Embedded Media Field Module ( http://drupal.org/project/emfield) then there will be no interaction between TinyMCE and your embed code and so you would avoid this whole problem. You need to install CCK of course to get the Embedded Media Field module to work. Connecting CCK Fields

Hey Drupal Community! I am trying to come up with a way to link three CCK fields together so that when you add multiple values to the same node you have three connected CCK fields in this case. The use is when someone works on a case tracker case they should have the date, the hours worked, as well as their user name. We don't want to have to make a new node each time for this. Another use case is users upload pictures and the admin needs an excepted check box for each uploaded image on the same node. I hope I am making sense. If anyone has an idea of how to make this work I would appreciate it. Hi, I have a Drupal 6.1 web site; mainly a blog, that recently went live with the help of a developer. I'm still learning my way around it. (I'm much more familiar w/WordPress.) How do I embed a video in a story? I tried ... made sure input method was set to Full HTML ... but when I paste in my embed code, it doesn't work. -- If I paste it into the HTML (source) window, when I click Update, the code disappears from the edit story window. (If I open the HTML window again, the code is gone). -- I paste it directly into the TinyMCE window, it appears as text in the published story Do I need a module? Does it make a diff. that I'm not using CCK/Views, but using Taxonomy (site was originally developed for v4). Everything else works great on the site. Adding a field to my View deletes all fields in the view.

Sorry to say, but the subject line sort of sums it up. I'm using Views 6.x-2.6 and also have Bonus: Views Export 6.x-1.0- beta4. Drupal 6.14. I'm creating a feed view with a lot of fields in the view, and one filter. The magic number seems to be 79. I can add 78 fields with no problem, but when I add the 79th and save the view, I get the messages: • The view has been saved. • View hook called. Just like I normally would. This time, though, under "Fields" and "Filters" I have "None defined." It is repeatable as is, but I have not created a separate installation to test it in a vacuum. I know I'll have to do that, but for obvious reasons this is going to be a heinous job to reproduce, so I'm hoping someone can beat me to the punch with a commonly known limit or bug or anything. Is this familiar? Steve PS I have of course searched the Views issue queue, and I can't find any instance of this happening to anyone else.

Search Lucene API vs Faceted Search

Hello! I would like to add faceted searching functionality to my site. I am considering these two modules: - Faceted Search (http://drupal.org/project/faceted_search) - Search Lucene API (http://drupal.org/project/luceneapi) I have no experience implementing this kind of search or with any of these modules. I would appreciate to get any opinions or feelings about this issue, specially from anyone who has tried both as my main issue right now is to choose between them. Many thanks for any help. Roberto

node reference as text field

I would like to have node reference to work like text field sometimes. I am developing a social networking site. One of the content type in my site is "Event" it has two autocomplete node reference field to content type "venue" and "band" respectively. (Registered users are allowed to create nodes of any content type). The thing i would like to achieve here is the "band" and "venue" field in "Event" content type should turn into normal text field when the node being referred is not in the auto-complete list. Is there any module or API function to do this ? I found nr_autocomplete [1] module in google search which does something similar to what i need but it is available only for drupal 5. users profiles and views

Hi, I am working on a site where we have users with cck profiles (using content-profile). I want to have a list of users in a grid view, with just the profile image and title displayed in the grid, with links to the user's home page. The problem I'm having is that user views only allow you to display the view as fields, not as nodes, so I can't see an easy way of doing this. I tried a solution where the view lists the users' profile nodes instead of their user pages, which works reasonably well, but isn't quite right, because (e.g.) if the user has a blog, the profile page doesn't show their blog. I can probably find a way of making it work, but it seems like a situation where there are lots of things pulling and pushing in different directions, so I thought I would ask for help on what's the simplest way of doing this.
