This has nothing to do with Drupal, it's pure HTML. You can't submit a form from a different page, since it isn't rendered. Something is wrong with your logic & design. Re-think what you want to do. If both forms are on the same page, you could do it with Javascript, but even that would be a bad design. drupal6 and python

I have a problem in Drupal 6! I'm using Python and all of a sudden the application is pointing to a different version of python. It used to be python2.7, now the application is pointed to python2.4 and it causes errors. I haven't changed anything! The server is pointing to 2.7, it's only the application. Do you have any idea where it's set, which file? It's a linux machine and uses LAMP. Thanks, Katy

Haven't tested this but maybe using HOOK_block_view_alter(&$data, $block) to unset() $data['content']['#contextual_links'] would do to get rid of the contextual links? Hi all, I am using Drupal 7 and have following scenario: 1. I have two different form on two different pages say /a and /b 2. When I submit form from /a page, in background I have to submit /b page form also. 3. I am not getting how I can do this? Can anyone give me some hint to do this. Drupal 7: Remove protocol for HTML5 shiv to support both http and https. The problem is that the HTML5 shiv that is pulled from Google code was hard coded to use http (http://html5shiv.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/html5.js) which can cause the browser to throw a warning that some external resources might not be secure. This insecure browser issue is only a problem with IE8 and below because this code is only used within those browsers. I don't know much about theming within drupal 7 so how can I find ( http://html5shiv.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/html5.js) within the Drupal source code so that I can get rid of this http reference? I did a global search for "html5shim" within the root of my drupal installation but I did not find anything. I know that it must be their somewhere because IE8 shows a reference to it when viewing my drupal pages. Thanks, -- John J. Mitchell

LTI development

Folks, This is a bit off topic, but I am exploring the LTI format for plug-in learning modules. Instructure's canvas site has a course for learning this, but it's really terrible for newbies like me who would like to learn more about the technology behind it while learning the API. One thing I've been searching for is a simple example of an LTI app. The course gives no examples, and I haven't been able to find other suitable learning resources. I know there is a drupal module in development, but I'd like to get a better foundation, with simple examples, etc. Is anybody developing this kind of app and could point me to a simple example as a starting point? Hi, I am trying to create a birthday list.. Problem is I can't work out how to get views to show me a list of all items in a particular month irrespective of the year.. So for example all birthdays in May no matter which year they are born.. Anyone have any ideas?

FieldInfo not added to class registry when updating to Drupal 7.22

I would be grateful for any insight in how to solve this issue: When upgrading to Drupal 7.22 I get a Fatal error: Class 'FieldInfo' not found in /mnt/www/html/moh2011test/docroot/modules/field/field.info.inc on line 28 After many hours of trying to understand the message, I found a great post http://drupal.org/project/registry_rebuild that suggests this exact error is caused by a corrupted registry. I followed the instructions, added the registry_rebuild.php and ran it and got now error messages. Reinstalled 7.22 (I had gone back to 7.21) and still got the error. The upgrade worked fine on my local copy of my sites but not on the live versions. So I compared the registry tables in the database and saw that FieldInfo was on the local site but not live so I added it manually. Then I got this error message: Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/mnt/www/html/osb2011dev/docroot/modules/field/field.info.class.inc' (include_path='.:/var/www/html/osb2011dev/library/:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /mnt/www/html/osb2011dev/docroot/includes/bootstrap.inc on line 3102 Understanding what this means is just beyond me. I compared all enabled and disabled modules on the local and live sites, set them the same and tried again. Still got the error. I just don't know where to look. I'm not a coder so I don't really know what's going on behind the scenes and would appreciate any hints as to where I could look to find the solution to this problem. Thanks so very much.

Apache solr integration - Adding new fields during indexing of a node/document

Dear Drupal Experts Currently I use apache solr 3.6.2 for search engine in a Drupal 715 environment. Apache solr, indexes the document, I search based on the keyword and gets document list. So far so good. I need to enhance it. When I add the document (actually these are resumes), I need to add certain fields like age, experience years, salary etc. So that while searching the documents, I can add the filters accordingly to get more relevant documents. Now my BIIGEST worry is how do I proceed. 1. Do I need to modify the schema file to add fields for age, experience, salary 2. Do I need to implement some special hooks in my custom module, so that I can add the fields like age, experience (any examples if you have please share) during indexing. 3. While searching, do I need to implement any specific hook, so that I can add the filters for age, experience etc.., if so , pls share the examples if you have. Thanks Kamal
